‘The Court is in Crisis’: Clarence Thomas’ Reported Failure to Disclose Lavish Gifts From GOP Billionaire Donor Explodes on Twitter

www.mediaite.com... twitter/

The report delves into multiple instances over the years where the conservative justice and his wife, Ginni, were treated to lavish vacations, yacht cruises, and flights on a private jet, all on the dime of billionaire real estate developer Harlan Crow. ProPublica analyzed flight records, internal documents, and interviews with dozens of Crow’s employees to track his access to Thomas and the number of times the justice schmoozed with Crow and his friends while accepting princely trips to exclusive locations.

But this tweet makes it even more disturbing:

Denver Riggleman
@RepRiggleman
Our country is poisoned from within. Ethics be damned. And with his wife, Ginni, being a major GOP influencer with multiple organizations that funnel and accept money in GOP circles—and certified Q quack—Clarence Thomas should not be allowed anywhere near a judicial decision.

AOC is now calling for his impeachment which she should.

I've never cared for the man personally and was against his installation from the beginning. But that's besides the point.

So much corruption. And why so long to discover it?

Ummmm

This is not new. Hell, there are stories from the early 2010's on all of them.

What you are seeing is a political witch hunt. They will try to remove Supreme Court Judges for things all of them are doing.

Won't happen.

Clarence Thomas is the one GOP that is defiant in his position.

Y'all are failing so bad across multiple different States, sectors and domains that calling the removal of Justice Clarence Thomas is laughable.

Furthemore, AOC has her own issues to worry about involving "donations and disclosure", the deflection won't work.

They’d give him the Scalia treatment but there’s a lot they’re trying to wrap their heads around first… like “does his black life matter because he doesn’t do our bidding”… 😜

Obviously it's been in the know. And it's been going on for years:

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas has accepted secret luxury trips from Republican megadonor Harlan Crow for more than two decades in apparent violation of a financial disclosure law, a ProPublica report revealed Thursday.

www.cnbc.com...[.ex]

But why now? Why now is it being taken seriously? And who else should be removed from their prestigious positions?

I'm thinking the same thing...

About the Biden crime family.

About people in Congress (namely the Pelosis) benefiting from insider trading.

About Hilary Clinton breaking federal laws and not even getting a slap in the wrist.

About a Supreme Court justice illegally leaking court information.

About an entire "Justice" Department colluding to produce lies in an attempt to defame a sitting president.

About an entire "Justice" Department colluding to lie about Hunter Biden's laptop in order to influence an election and protect a party's candidate.

Yeah, SO!MUCH!CORRUPTION!

That should tell you something.

If they have been after him for years and he still hasn't gone down, it's because either:

1. They don't have enough on him to bring him down.
...or...
2. They are all so damned dirty that they are afraid of being exposed themselves.

Why is that besides the point? Your Twitter based evidence and arguments would carry more weight if you use to admire Clarence Thomas but are now convinced he's a no good rotten man?

Starting from the belief that he has always been a no good rotten man and "finding" evidence to show why is simply confirmation bias.

typical government shouldn't be political argument that both sides like to play in an attempt to push their own idea of tyrannical policy, i mean of course judges are political and have political connections, they aren't robots or pure beings with no self interest, i highly doubt they can impeach him for being political in a political profession. i mean judges are part of the government which is a political body in and of itself. judges are politicians.

Whoa, hold up there bro.

You're saying something bad about a conservative, there was something negative about GOP. You came to the wrong forum.

No one is going to like your post or agree with you. See, they're already defending him even though he's black.

Disclaimer: The black part is a joke.

www.foxnews.com...

"Harlan and Kathy Crow are among our dearest friends, and we have been friends for over twenty-five years," the justice, who has served on the bench for 32 years, said in a Friday statement.

"As friends do, we have joined them on a number of family trips during the more than quarter century we have known them. Early in my tenure at the Court, I sought guidance from my colleagues and others in the judiciary, and was advised that this sort of personal hospitality from close personal friends, who did not have business before the Court, was not reportable," Thomas said.

So here is the deal, if you are in any position of power, and you have any friend who is wealthy or at least wealthier than you, based on the outrage here, you are no longer allowed to associate with them.

If you can prove Clarence Thomas offered favor for $ with regard to this person, we can have that discussion, but make no mistake, Joe Biden's name will come up in that same light, possibly in a much deeper and darker way.

Big deal. Up until half a month ago everything Thomas did was above board. Rules changed, and Thomas said he will begin to report these private deals with his friends. More nothingburgers.
