The Vaxzevria (AstraZeneca) is no longer an approved COVID-19 vaccine, the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care announced last month.

Who would have thought that they would have finally wised up? So it's out of favor in the UK and Australia and the WHO is still saying that it is safe and effective. So this little bit of nastiness has some serious side effects. Since the Russian Sputnik seems to be a clone of Astra Zenaka, could we suggest that China's vaccine was a clone of a clone? So they might have some serious problems.

No. China’s vaccine is a classic attenuated virus vaccine. It’s not a clone of anything. It’s exactly the good old fashioned kind of vaccine that anti-vaxxers seem to like.

But isn't that what they said about Sputik in the early days?

Well maybe they turbo warp speeded it and just pipped the West in the development of it or maybe they didn't, the BS is staggering in all sectors. edwardslavsquat.substack.com...
So if you read this article in its entirety you will realize that Russia is subject to the same restraints that the West is being subject to, if a doctor speaks out he is labeled an enemy of the people and a terrorist. Their equivalent of Facebook also has undergone the same restraints so I think we know where we are going.

The AstraZeneca vaccine and the Russian Sputnik vaccine are both viral vector vaccines. That is they use another 'benign' virus to carry attributes of a disease pathogen into the cell.
The 'viral-vector' bit is the method of delivery of the payload. They can have vastly different payloads, even if the delivery system is identical.
Viral vector vaccines have been in common use since 1972. Generally, the payload in viral vector vaccines has been genetically engineered, however this is different than mRNA vaccines.
In the case of the AstraZeneca vaccine, it is believed that the adenovirus used as the delivery mechanism is the cause of many of its adverse reactions.
As the Sputnik vaccine also uses adenoviri, it is reasonable to expect that it should have a similar profile of adverse reactions as the AstraZeneca vaccine.
Also, I am fairly sure that Putin's attack on Ukraine was not limited to bio-labs and was motivated by a desire to reestablish the previous dominance of a Soviet Bloc, a process he began in several former Soviet countries, since the 1990's, rather than anything to do with COVID or pharmacology.

Over 12 months of Long Covid here..
The spokesperson wanted to emphasise the decision to phase out Vaxzevria was “not a decision based on safety as some people have misrepresented on social media”, but by the increased supply of alternative Covid vaccine options.
“As expected, first generation vaccines have been superseded by newer vaccines targeting the strains of the virus now circulating.”
