There are some schools that are becoming empty due to the birth rate is plummeting in some rural areas across Japan.

Shouldn't Japan and other developing countries impose family friendly polices, agendas in order to improve the conditions?
As you would expect.

The UN's only soultion is to this problem is "Immigration" yet they ignore imposing family friendly/Polices that could help the countries that have this issue.

I'm spending two months in Japan this summer. I'll knock up some random women I meet at clubs.

My wife teaches and is down to 3 students. Many don't know but some country schools have dorms. These are provided for island children that must leave home to be educated.

As a cyclists here, l see these vacant 🏫 schools around the country. There are even student notebooks on the desk and chalkboards with the last messages from the students it's very sad and heartbreaking to see it but most of these schools that I come across are in towns that were mining towns and agricultural for world war II way out in the countryside.

Do you prefer the Qatari's regime state affiliated AJ instead?
Or CNN's Most Trusted Name in News?

Also read about the train that only had one student that stayed in business until she graduated and I think the train tracks have now been closed this is a recent story too and be very interesting if I can find the info on it but since you're following up on everything follow up and see the train that had only one student until she graduated from high school that's all kinds society is to the students.

What year did the birth rate begin dropping? School age children are usually at least 5-6 years old, so what happened back then?

It's not just Japan - I live in a UK county and the school my kids go to used to have a three form entry for Reception, and now only has a two form entry, and I work for a London Borough, and they're starting to look at closing and merging primary/infant schools across the borough as the pupil numbers are dropping, so class sizes are not big enough to justify the expense of having that number, so merging schools will reduce this overhead cost.

something to keep an eye on I fear.

I see two problems with your solution:

1 - The word "impose". What effective "family friendly policies" do you think coul be imposed onto people?
2 - Time. Even if everybody starts having one child, it will take 6 or 7 years for them to reach school age. Immigration does have problems, but it can be almost instantaneous.

There are several Eastern Euporean Countries already imposing these Family Friendly polices.
Poland including.
One of the polices, which i am sure you aware that there are Eastern Euporean Liberals trying to change that by trying to swing in immigration as a soultion.

In Poland.

the Polish Republic grants the protection and support to couples as a union of a woman and a man, to family, to maternity and to paternity

Even in some Balkan countries they had pushed for something similar.
To the polish version of 500 plus.

I would assume Western Liberals arent very smart when it comes to such ideals or polices.

The problem with immigration is that there are some certain players in our world where they want to use it for other reasons.
The other issue with immigration you are bringing a people from a different continent that will not be well assimilated even if it take decades.

The polticans who are supporting immigration, open borders and endless migration they dont these any issues simply because they live in gated communities.
