First Novella Published! Advice?

Hello community friends!

I'm looking advice from ATS on what strategies worked for you on getting the word out. The internet is flooded with blogs, YouTube videos, peddler promoters, and exclusive experts, but I think I am getting information overload here.

I've tried the usual free stuff like Facebook, LinkedIn, Get Books Reviewed, Goodreads, Amazon, to name a few. The most success I've had is just buying paperback and handing them out. That doesn't get reviews, but am happy to hear there are grateful & willing readers.

What successes have you had with getting the word out on your works?

Certainly the least expensive the better, I don't have the funds for massive ad campaigns.
