Clinton's payment was over 5x what Trump paid, and nobody had a problem with it.

And before certain people start sputtering about "whataboutism," this is establishing the double standard that exists, which is absolutely relevant. The treatment of the J6 protestors is another glaring example. BLM and Antifa literally burned down entire neighborhoods in DC, but nobody called them terrorists, and certainly none of them have been held in jail for 2 years without a trial.

You'd better believe that the Double Standard is going to be front-and-center in the national conversation. Along with what the appropriate remedy should be.

I Like You , but You are Wrong here on So Many Levels . Mr. Trump Will Not see a Day of Incarceration . His Lawyers Will Appeal to a Higher Court while Dirt Bragg and New Yawk Suck Wind .

Right now, the most important thing Congress can do is subpoena D.A. (Dumb Ass) BRAGG and his Assistant...who's actually the brains.

Doing so could give DA Fannie Willis pause, down in Atlanta, Georgia. She's itching hit President Trump FAST with a volley of weak charges... Right when Mr. Trump is being fingerprinted in Manhattan next week.

It was being reported last week that the agreement with the Secret Service stipulates that Trump will be released on his own recognizance. They still have a duty to protect him. I guess it might end if he's convicted, but as it stands being accused of a crime does not eliminate the Secret Service protection that Trump is entitled to.

Also, there's the fact that not even the worst partisans have been able to spin this as Trump being some kind of danger to the community, which is the usual reason why bail gets denied. The Secret Service protection also makes it basically impossible that Trump could flee, even if he wanted to.
