Yesterday and today Russia is on the move of moving its nuclear arson and also to Belarus.

Like Trump once said peace through strength and that's exactly what Putin is showing right now.

zenlinsky was just on television a few minutes ago preaching democracy and how Ukraine is at stake of losing its democracy.

But actually didn't yellensky cancel all news media that was against him and shut down churches and arrested many journalists that sadly the Western world is not reporting on.

my gut feeling I think this war is nothing more than a training scrimmage for military personnel Russia and Ukraine and probably UN and mercenary troops.

multipolar sources have zelensky asking xi to visit Ukraine to talk..

i tend to come at this stuff through the multipolar lens rather than just what western media is saying..

given how saudia. iran, brazil etc are pivoting in the face of the current US administration it'll be interesting to see what happens in Ukraine.

One thing about NHK Japanese television they actually have real reporters on the ground and Ukraine and actually interviewing Zenlinsky.

Sadly the Japanese government is sending them millions and millions of dollars worth of something and what is really all crazy about this is if what you said is true the US taxpayers are actually paying or is we seem to acknowledge from the news media the taxpayers are paying the pensions of the ukrainians
And nobody in Washington DC that I know of as has asked why our American taxpayers paying for pensions for the Ukrainian people is crazy simply one word crazy.

You probably know this but the lady President of Taiwan is in New York right now and all the pro CCP chinese people against Taiwan being a free country are there protesting and yet where's the FBI where's the CIA arresting these people that have green cards or citizenship in favor of the Chinese government while the president duly elected president of Taiwan is there on a Goodwill mission and what's really weird it's it's under the name of that she doesn't have to visit the White House or President Biden has to meet with her unofficial visit yeah that's what it's called unofficial visit to America.

“Peace through strength” was a quote from Ronald Reagan.
Nevermind. I see that you addressed it.

I seen NATO moaning that Putin is putting nuclear warheads in Belarus.

His comment about it was spot on.

"it should not be a problem because America have been doing this for years"

the us intent on staring at its navel and focusing on trump missed the moves china was making through lockdowns to set the stage for a multipolar world.. london maybe pivoting but many city law firms are still working on BRI.. the thing with reserve currencies people forget is its more that just money its also who writes and arbitrates the contracts which are still mostly in english contract law..

its through that lens i watch what is happening and the analytics tend to be the usa is in the same place britain was with hong kong, Shanghai, Singapore and malay in the 1940s that's not to point fingers at japan for past issues but rather highlight that weakness in leadership (britain then) usa now with all the naval gazing over trump is inviting all these issues.

for the usa the key part of its ascendancy was going control over over 2 allied maritime nations (anglo-japanese alliance), as these extended us borders to continental europe and mainland asia.. china needs to reverse that and push us control back to its own shores..

while Taiwan is a lesser part its the first real step towards that outcome.

And since Russia is in Europe, they've had nukes in Europe all along? What a shock! What a plot twist!!!

as both sides are trying to collapse the other the only real risk here is what happens when one does collapse?

asc for use them even hitler didn't use his wmds even when the nazis where losing..

i've always wonder how the uk would have responded if hitler did use them on a uk city.. while not as effective as todays wmds they would still have been a terror weapon in the minds of those who served on the western front especially post dunkirk..

But hitler never did for fear the same weapons would have been used on germany and that fear would remain true today for both sides even losing.

its the what else is on the table that should be of concern, the us brought back the earthquake bomb designed by barns wallis as the next step down from nukes.. so all sides have their non nuke equivs should it all go hot.. there is more chance of both firing the step down from nukes at each other than wmds.. at least to begin with.. this is more posturing for a domestic audience than not..

I think there are quite a few real risks.

As for Hitler using WMDs on a UK city, the response would likely have involved Anthrax, which I believe he was made aware of.

Let me put you right.

True, V1s, too.

Pretty nasty but not WMDs.

Well !!!!

The V‑2 (Vergeltungswaffe 2, or “Vengeance Weapon 2”) with its one‑ton payload of high explosives was truly a weapon of mass destruction.

Depends on your definition, I suppose.

I'd go with "Terror Weapon", myself.

He also introduced anti worker legislation and banned political opposition. Not only his major political rival party (who had been calling for adherence to the Minsk agreements) but 10 other political parties as well.

There is no democracy in Ukraine. Zelensky is a dictator to his people, and in broader terms is just a puppet of the war mongering west. Some of what he has done has eerie similarities to another European leader in the '30's who also ended up rolling German tanks into the Ukraine against the Soviets.

I imagine the Nazi extremests who he panders to get around the place chanting this ...

Ein Volk
Ein Riech
Ein Fuhrer Zelensky!

If history is anything to go by, the US would be the main concern there.

Much of the (non western) world is pivoting. Led by China of course who laid much of the groundwork, but Russia has shown the world that you can be the most heavily US sanctioned country in history, and still do well. This has emboldened many countries with developing economies to look to non western trading blocks as the future. Eventually this will have a parallel system of trade and finance that bypasses the US one and contains most of the worlds population, resources and manufacturing.

The US has always been too "exceptional" (ie self important and arrogant) to be much good at diplomacy, but with this administration it genuinely looks like "amateur hour". While other countries send dignitaries around the world to negotiate, the US sends an old booze hag who struggles to speak in coherent sentences to stir things up for China in Taiwan. They blow up pipelines. Blinken is now demanding that all G20 summit documents contain a condemnation of Russia, despite certain countries (including the host nation India) clearly being on good terms if not economic allies of the Russians. That's negotiation US style.

We're watching the collapse of a once superpower who has lost its mojo. The level of incompetence is massive. In some ways the US is beginning to look like Japan in the 30's-early40's. Desperate for empire and eager to replace diplomacy and negotiation with conflict.
