Just pointing out how the books are cooked, depending on which party is presenting the information. You posted the chart, while he/she brought a long list of shootings-where only two were school shootings. Add some/leave some out works so well when manipulated public opinion.

Going back to the Trump years, they can add all of the shootings 'near' a school to actual shootings on a school campus for increased dramatic effect. That's how you get '2019 is the year with the second most school shootings. 2018 is the year with the most school shooting deaths' as opposed to factual data.

Polls and numbers mean as much as a politicians word; the truth is hidden in manipulated data.

I was gonna point this out. Anti-gun extremists are famous for artificially inflating numbers.

There's uninformed people on both sides of every political issue, but of all the issues, anti-gun extremists are consistently the least-informed people you can find for a political discussion. Not only are they uninformed, some of them are actually proud of their ignorance.

They'll sit there and brag "I don't HAVE to know anything about guns because I know [insert a bunch of memorized, incorrect propaganda that they don't understand.]"

They're the most impossible people to discuss any political issue with, because they know so little and are staunchly opposed to learning anything.

When I see a post asking about what Republicans or Democrats are doing, are they referring to the American populace, or are they referring to the elected bought and owned politicians, but not by us?

I have to think they are talking about the politicians that will only do what they are told to do by their masters, and that is not the American voters, because they would not have to ask what they themselves are doing.

They are either doing something proactive, or they are just sitting and watching the country go to Hell in a hand basket. And they can pretty much take it to the bank that everyone else, D or R, is doing exactly the same thing that they are doing.

The only way out of this quagmire is a downright dirty walk through the muck. Until we are willing to give up sitting on the fence, and riding the train of complacency, we will just keep going with the flow, and bitching about what we have lost.

There is no way out where you are going to be clean, unscathed, smelling like a rose. Until we are willing to bite the bullet, make the sacrifices, feel the hunger, endure the pain, and be called the names, things will just get worse.

If we stop going with the flow. If we just say "No." We don't have to use violence, just a peaceful refusal to play the game.

Be very careful about where you spend your money, even if it means going without. How long do you think it would take for Netflix, Disney, or any other business to rethink their corporate blueprint, if all the people that is unhappy with their present business model, stopped using the businesses in conflict or cancelled their subscriptions?

If 1% of the population is unhappy and able to motivate such massive changes that the 99% do not want or disagree with, then the 1% have a magic weapon that we need to find and to use.
