I think you might be alluding to Romania…a NATO member…being asked by Moldova to help solve their Transnistria situation…which fortunately for Transnistria…houses contingents of the Russian military…

Transnistria would then be between the pincers of NATO…and the buildup of the Azov Ukrainians…on it’s eastern flank…

However…the loser would be Moldova…as the long awaited Russian spring offensive is no doubt going to ingest both Nikolaev…and Odessa…and possibly bring Moldova into the fold…


That’s what I would do If I were President Putin…keep that meat grinder feint around Artemovsk (Bakhmut)…percolating…

Then use his real forces to cut Ukraine completely off from the Black Sea…

The warrant was not issued by "actual, real judges." An actual, real judge must have jurisdiction. Russia is not a member state, so there is no jurisdiction.

If Putin visits another country, he is still surrounded by Russia's version of our Selective Service. Any attempt on Putin will immediately be met with full military force. On the outside chance he were to actually be arrested, that would be a major act of war against Russia and would likely set off that nuclear exchange everyone claims to be worried about.

Heads of state are not ordinary citizens to be handled however one wishes, in any country.

A purely symbolic move that raises essential questions: But first, Putin's fate is tied to the war's outcome in Ukraine. So instead of facing the ICC, he is more likely to face death or imprisonment from a coup and a second Russian Civil War. Hence, destroying Russian forces in Ukraine is the best possible outcome, but there is no escaping the potential fallout.

Moreover, what happens to the suspected Russian war criminals who are detained in Ukraine? The Geneva Convention doesn't cover members of the Wagner Group. The answer will probably lie in any future armistice between Russia and Ukraine. The return of POWs/other prisoners would likely form a part of that agreement.

Ummm…it is exceedingly humorous…to see you not realizing you’ve answered your own question…

However…humor aside…this is the current breakdown…

The vast majority of the Russian regular forces involved in the conflict…some 400,000 strong…are not front line forces…
They’re held in reserve…being used to fire mortar…artillery…MLRS…and missiles…from second echelon positions…

Wagner…Chechens…foreign fighters…and regulars from the Donetsk…Lugansk provinces are the primary front line troops…

All while the Ukrainian experienced forces have already been decimated…the inexperienced boys and pensioners being fed to the Artemovsk meat grinder by Zelenskyy…have a life expectancy of four hours on the front…

Ukraine has already bled it’s potential dry…Zelenskyy has already been informed that a spring offensive…if he can even mount one…is his last best gasp…and that no more arms subsequent will be available from the tapped out western inventories…

Then comes the full brunt of the Russian offensive…
