It actually wouldn't be hard to adopt the Dutch healthcare model onto our current framework.
The biggest difference with their healthcare system is that insurance companies have to offer a base level of coverage at cost. If you're too poor to afford coverage the government will subsidize the cost.

How exactly is a wall going to help when over 85% of fentanyl smugglers are US citizens? Not to mention over 90% of the fentanyl coming in to the country does so at legal crossing points?
