Prior to 2014, there were articles in the MSM talking about how Ukraine had a big problem with neo-Nazis. It was a known issue.

Since then, all of that has been flushed down the memory hole, and we're supposed to support the very same people who were wearing SS insignia and painting swastikas on their vehicles up until just a year or two ago.

So if the USA were invaded by Mexico, we shouldn't support the USA because some of them wear KKK insignia and are xenophobic racists?

And the world just experienced it's first woke taste of the new Nazi Nationalism with Lockdowns and Government Mandated Vacinations.

It was fun to be stripped of individualism and the right to choose, felt great to be part of something bigger... didn't it my fellow global citizens?

Fun fact when it comes to Ukraine and Russia. The people are pretty much all Nazis and it doesn't matter which side one looks at. Full on Nazis in their mind set going back hundreds of years.

What's shallow is how damning the Wiki article is and we all know who controls that, mine as well be the MSM controlling Wiki world history.

So alternatively one can go searching further in the real history books/site and uncover soul-jarring facts of the situation.

Wow! you are right! I stand corrected. That is a perfect reason for Russia to destroy every building standing there and pillage every able man to fight in their war. Those damn Ukrainians...

I have to ask: is there ever a good reason for war?

Like Grenade said: it takes two to tango. So in a war there's always a minimum two reasons. And they could both be bad, one of them could be good, and I think in some cases even both could be good.

Really, have no clue what you are talking about. Historical revisionism, or misinterpretation, is what Russia propagandists propagate. "Ukrainian's are Nazis" is what Russian propagandists have been chanting for a number of years, as part of a campaign to dehumanise the Ukrainians. The fact that some people, who think they are enlightened, believe this propaganda is rather sad.

Back to topic. Russia has spent several months, and invested significant effort, in the Bakhmut battle. The cost has been very high, for both sides, but especially for Russia. The lesson here is that Russian superiority and their ability to control the areas they say belong to them is compromised. Russia have started a war that they cannot hope to finish, and which delivers none of their revised and limited objectives.

How can anyone support Russia for the mountain of corpses they have created?

You guys have that kind of backwards, like most things out of England.

It is you guys who are overly obsessed with Putin and something about the independence of Ukraine... as if England doesn't have any problems of their own.

I know we sure do in the States... Ukraine independence pfft, you'd think they manufacture 90% of the worlds semiconductors there or something.

It will fall and quickly.

Russia did a great job of turning it into a grinder for ukranian meat. It's no wonder the average age of a ukranian soldier is now forty to sixty, ignoring the child soldiers they have started using.

All in all a great job by Russia.

Although I'm sure the zelenskyy boot lickers will be along to disagree.

So, the 3-day "special operation" is going to plan?

The draft of thousands of young russian soldiers was to be expected all along?

I hear your Nazi hero Putin is now forcing women to the front line, like the coward he is. Just because he hate Russians.

I just do not know how we go from talking to War with Russia

We didn't. We went from talking down to and ignoring Russia to now.

That's not pro-Russia propaganda. It's history: 60 years of the cold war, followed by a decade or so of stripping Russia of its remaining resources under the guise of "helping them adjust to capitalism," followed by a few decades of ignoring complaints from them. All after Russia helped defeat the Axis powers in WWII.

I can see why they don't like us.

That's what I keep saying. Russia was wrong to invade, but what has Ukraine been doing to Russia to cause them to invade? I see bad behavior on both sides of this conflict, and now we are not just supplying Ukraine with weapons and treasure to the point of crippling our own country, we are trying to use that damn "woke" propaganda crap to accuse anyone who questions those actions of being Putin's comrade.

And all this a few short years after learning that Ukraine was the hub of an International money-laundering network catering to our politicians.

Well, my country is already under occupation by a hostile regime. Nothing left to lose... so I'll call that crap out when it happens. What can they do, kill me? I'm already half dead. Might as well finish out on the truth.

I know you disagree with me about this war. But my point was that saying a war is just or unjust is meaningless when there's two parties in the war. If one party is wrong for attacking, for example, then the other is right to defend itself, and so on.

And even if Ukraine was a money-laundering hub, how is this war supposed to fix that? How will the war put an end to woke propaganda?

You're being a hypocrite right now and I don't know if you realize that. On the one hand you wonder if a war can ever be right, then just a few posts later you start listing a bunch of justifications for this war.

After Stalin's Hlodomor I can also see why some Ukrainians might not be too keen on Russia but let's not live in the past?
