There's a very good, specific reason not one virtue signaling Western country has joined the fray.

No, it was not. Russia feared democracy creeping closer. Russia was unable to accept that those countries who had been oppressed for so long turned against their old jailer. Russia whining about NATO is a recent thing.

That is the original defence. The US cannot be surrounded, that is their ace in the hole. With the Pacific on one side, the Atlantic on the other, there is only Canada (which aligns with the US) and Mexico, which really is a small border AND that is why they can be so bombastic about them being the World power. If the US had a number of smaller countries on it's borders, or close islands, that were against them it would be a different story. Please look back in history what happened when Cuba allied with Russia. America crapping their pants till it was resolved.

yup between debt, water problems, food problems, population problems they are in trouble.

On top of that they are so fixating on stealing and engineering off what was stolen they havent developed or opened the doors to the true innovators that are required to make that next jump.

The thing is, china will not be able to take over the USA in more than 20+ years due to the collapse of their population of working class citizens and the crisis of "everything" they are facing, china is very resource poor and has to import a lot of things. One major thing is coal which they get a majority of it from Australia funnily enough (which is brown coal to be specific and that's the least efficient kind of coal to my knowledge).
china is in my opinion going to fracture as it has in the past not collapse as one might think.

I think China can be squeezed in a choke hold, moreso than Russia.

And perhaps their citizens might be your greatest allies when it comes to cutting off the head of the snake.


The West made China, I believe shutting them off from trade routes worldwide will do the job, unlike in Russia.

They would be forced to retaliate while at the same time keeping extremely tight control over their people, but how would that play out?
