Senator John Fetterman can stay at the hospital and work, say his colleagues:

THEY ARE BOTH U.S. SENATORS.

Why is it so important for Feinstein to physically be in D.C., while it's not important for Fetterman to work in his D.C. office?

3.28.2023 UPDATE

PA. SENATOR JOHN FETTERMAN HAS MISSED 83% OF ALL SENATE VOTES THIS YEAR!

Democratic Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman has missed nearly 83% of Senate roll call votes since checking himself into a hospital to receive treatment for clinical depression last month.

According to government watchdog GovTrack, Fetterman has missed 53 of the 64 Senate roll call votes held during February and March. His average falls well beyond the lifetime record for missed votes for all current senators, which stands at 2.3%.

Wednesday will mark six weeks since Fetterman first checked into Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on the night of February 15, and there is still no clear indication as to when he might return to work. His office has provided periodic updates, including that he is making progress towards his recovery, as well as that he has been able to continue doing some work from the hospital.

JUST MAYBE the people of Pennsylvania don't care.

After all, they elected John Fetterman as their U.S. Senator (1 of 2) this past November, even after he promised to turn loose 40% of the state's prisoners, lied about Energy Jobs, and said everyone sounds like Charlie Brown's teacher to him.

Feinstein Update...

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) announced on Wednesday that her return to work in Washington has been delayed due to ongoing health complications and called on the Senate to appoint a temporary replacement for her on the Judiciary Committee.

Her announcement came hours after Reps. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) and Dean Phillips (D-Minn.) called for her to resign from the chamber.

Feinstein has been sidelined since late February after being diagnosed with shingles. Her absence, coupled with that of Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.), has left Democrats working at an even 49-49 at best during that time.

However, Feinstein’s post on the Senate Judiciary Committee has meant that the panel has been unable to advance partisan nominees through to floor votes over that period.

Today, Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) proved she is very healthy.

Returned to work all smiles!: nymag.com...

People shouldn't worry one bit about President Joe Biden's health.

He's YEARS YOUNGER than Diane Feinstein!

In the photo in that article, she looked like she should be in hospice care. She's clearly at the end of her life. Author of the article is very bitter about her clinging to her political office.

Cheers

Necromancy is not just a fantasy thing read about in books or seen in movies. The DNC is proving that by dragging in a couple corpses to vote on things. They already depend on dead voters, so adding some official help to the list is no longer unprecedented.

What is with old white liberals and their desperate cling to power and position?

Probably because if they don't cling to power, most of them will end up in prison.

I really do agree with you. The number of old white Democrats clinging to office long past their sell-by date is quite telling. It suggests they don't have any faith in the younger generations.

...atho, when the younger generation is people like AOC, that sentiment is probably warranted.
