I hate to point this out but when I was in elementary school fourth or fifth grade in Oklahoma we learned what a condom was and how to use it.

That was 1998
Waayyyyyyyy to young to learn about that. This MK-Ultra/Marxism agenda goes back decades.

Thanks to OP for another on point thread.

CharlyV,

Everyone has to do SOMETHING about this. There are a bunch of real assholes trying to take over this country and the only way to stop them is to get them fired.

EXCELLENT comment, and a definite heads up to anyone who has a real sense of outrage about this whole mess we're into with what they're sneakily trying to indoctrinate children with in the classroom. GET THEM FIRED. Very good advice, also kudos for checking on the voting options & the use of a local forum to educate peers & parents as to what the candidates are standing for, what the schools are teaching in secret, etc. This world is going to Hell in a handbasket, and we all must do SOMETHING.

The schools are transparent all parents have to do is research the curriculum or ask questions. If they can't be bothered then therein lies the problem.

I suggest that the idea of schools being transparent seems naive. And frankly, as an ignorant parent who's been intimately involved in schooling for more than a couple children... I can say most parents learned to "trust" the education system. at least on its face.

Here we have a 'workbook' which does not appear in the curriculum as "A condom scavenger hunt." It is a so-called 'consumable' - unworthy of further description.

“Consumables live on shelves in the classroom. Students do not take them home and once they complete an assignment, their teacher tears the worksheet out of the book, reviews it, grades it, and then throws it away,” ...

And then there is:

Other assignments out of the workbook include one entitled “Harley and Drew” for which students are asked to answer questions about sexual encounters between two friends when one invites the other over to his house where he is babysitting his little brother.

You might note that the workbook that contains the Condom Hunt assignment is being purchased by schools in response to directives from both state and federal departments of education to create a more diverse curriculum. Imagine the literature that parents may receive, or even the 'passing mention' ... would it be about "condom hunting" or "sexual encounters between students?"

So the "condom hunt" and other such activities are intended to create a "diverse curriculum?" Because despite decades of 'education' improvements sex between minors is both on the rise, and yielding more venereal disease? And the answer is MORE of this approach?

Our problem is exacerbated when the teaching community thinks the parents have NO PLACE in curriculum decisions... because of their presumed abject ignorance. The educators being trained in universities seem to be indoctrinated to consider "parents" as less deserving of respectful consideration, or even of deserving an opportunity to object, since their 'voice' in the matter is "uneducated opinion."
