You really think the western allies won that war? If it hadn't been for Hitler having to defend his eastern front from the Russians, we would be flying the swastika over our capitol today. Russia beat the holy crap out of Germany is the only reason the western allies were able to defeat Germany on the western front.

Russia was only able to defeat Germany because the West bombed out Germany 's factories and supply lines.

Yes, Germany lost because it stretched itself too thin with attacking Russia. It didn't have to go to war with Russia, but Hitler was hopped up on meth just like many nazi soldiers but in far more amounts (true story).

Russia and Germany even had a pact or diplomatic agreement at the beginning because they both had the word socialist in their names (if you had to summarize).

Would they have fought eventually? I don't know, maybe everyone had to duke it out one good time, use the new advancements in military technology.

Before this, WWI was barely much more than muskets, lines of men, and cannons. No one had ever used a machine gun in battle, but boy was it tempting with the amount of bullets it shot at people compared to loading each one individually.

Agreed... but the problem is that there is a narrative going on in the EU as well. And all the focus on Sweden and Finland. The lines are being drawn tighter.

In Denmark... its so rediculous... we just got a new government. The mid left wing threw everyone under the bus and went right wing on its voters.

The new budget law required a lot of service reductions.
And to fund some of these, even though there is just one pile of tax money, they suggested removing a national holiday here in the spring.... reason:

Taken out of context, he is talking about the wars been fought in the middle east and ww2 when talking about the american sons and daughters... he is not saying he wants US boots on the ground in Ukraine at all.

In the interests of fairness, inclusion, diversity, and all that we should not send anyone who is a white, heterosexual, Christian male. Diversity is more important than qualifications. We should be able to conscript more than enough transgenders, drag queens, asylum seekers, oppressed minorities, and anti-Second Amendment types to do the job.

Heck, let's just empty out our prisons and send them to Ukraine. Everybody wins.
