"Because Iran's nuclear progress since we left the JCPOA has been remarkable. Back in 2018, when the previous administration decided to leave the JCPOA it would have taken Iran about 12 months to produce one bomb's worth of fissile material. Now it would take about 12 days," Kahl, the third ranking Defense Department official, told lawmakers.

This has to be BS. That website is funded by the Dems because President Trump would never make a bad decision like that. With more context, it's spinnable into making it look like its their fault for sure.

I agree.

The current environment seems different and new, but it’s not unique.

I heard a quote a while back that I know I’m going to butcher- every generation has to relearn the same lessons.

The effects of cancel culture don't compare in the slightest to the opressions of China and Russia. The U.S. isn't dictating cancel culture from governmental legislation. It's coming from corporations that people have the choice to use. We still have freedom of speech, religion, and expression.

I have heard very little instances of regular people losing their job because they expressed their religion or political beliefs online. Furthermore, we have laws that help protect against such things.

Not to mention, LGBTQ rights are lightyears ahead of countries like Russia or China. Transgender children is a small issue in the u.s. This isn't some thing that is happening in every school across America. And I much rather have a debate on what shoud be allowed for trans children, rather than the government cracking down and supressing everyone to implement their idea of "moral decency" like Russia or China does.

Most importantly, we can criticize the government and journalists have the freedom to say what they want. Which Russia and China do not. Sure, the U.S. is far from perfect, but we are MUCH better than china or russia. Or a similiar country.
