Everything China "lacks," Russia has plenty of and have been modernizing for the past decade.

Not aircraft carriers or long range naval projection. Keep in mind, the subject matter of this thread is an invasion of the US.

Right now, Russia is about to encircle Ukranian forces. Either NATO backs off, or it's WWIII.

That’s a possibility.

If the EU engages directly, no more gas from Russia.

They’ve already rebalanced, albeit at a price.

China and Iran will back Russia. The majority of the Middle Eastern countries will back Iran. India will probably back Iran.

China’s rise to super power is contingent it keeps its trade open to the west. Look up their exports by country, and you’ll see the west is basically bankrolling it. If China backs Russia, they get sanctioned and the gravy train stops.

China might play both sides lightly, but I doubt they screw themselves. The axis you spoke of doesn’t have the population or the capital to satisfy China’s ambitions. All the countries you listed have GDP’s that of US states. India is taking on a lot of western contracts as well. Doubt they’d want to risk that.

China doesn't need the west except for farmable land to feed a billion people.

The West needs cheap consumer goods it can't produce itself anymore. China is one of the only countries that can satisfy that demand.

China has been taking the half trillion dollars we pay them every year for cheap plastic crap, and have been investing it in developing countries through roads and infrastructure, which is expected to increase the global gdp by $7 trillion. Most of which will go to China.

And China's also got $1 trillion in US debt it can offload whenever it wants.

Sounds alot like the wet dream of the Christian Rightwing Conservatives to me...

But if god 'says' you can do it, its ok **Thumbs up**.

(Makes me laugh how for the Right, the words Liberal, Progressive and Democratic are framed as negatives in their language and something to rage against as evil... but they ignore the fact, those words are the sort of things Chinas and ruZZias leadership also call negative and wrong... sooo, if it really the Left that idolizes China? Doesnt appear to be).

ya right.
i guess the CCP turned democrat then.

i think you got a little damp.

Where'd I say that? Chinas isnt democratic... I was simply pointing out that the type of world the Christian Conservative Rightwing would want to install is no different than the dictatorships in ruZZia and China (and it would be worse), and that same said Rightwing seems to love placing the terms 'liberal', 'progressive' and 'democrat' as negatives when in reality what is bad about being Liberal or Progressive? instead of autocratic, regressive and theocratic... its a targeted use of language within their circles that trains a mind, if your constantly ragging on 'liberals' and 'progressives' as bad, eventually you begin to see such terms and their meanings as bad...

Just look at how your average American (rightwing typically) reacts to the words 'Socialist' 'Socialism' (when such terms and concepts arent actually bad and alot of said Americans depend on 'socialist' government systems and programs to live), its the same setup lol... and oddly there are many Americans (rightwing typically) who clap and cheer when one of theirs calls for the removal of a beneficial 'socialist' system that even benefits them directly... all because its labeled a 'liberal' 'socialist' 'progressive' program/system.

Because of that If the Christian Rightwing ever got full power in America you would have such a whiplash in terms of social progress and tolerance that your head would fly off and Rightwing people would applaud it as the greatest thing in the countries history. What would be good about that?

Now are a sizeable group on the far left just as intolerant and crazy as those on the right... yes. I wont deny that, but id take those nutters over the far right variant any day of the week since they are alot less dangerous.

Hell im left of Center in my political views with some left on some topics and on a small handful id call myself far left, but there ARE people on the far left that frighten the # out of me with their views. I just dont see them as an actual threat to human existence and progress as i do the far right and especially the christian far right.

Uh yeah, the "debt" we owe china, can be written off if we are attacked legally. you do not pay back the people shooting at you or attacking you first.

Also we can sue them for all the intellectual property they stole, and there goes the debt as well.

I can see an Chinese invasion from within, with China convincing liberals that a hard crackdown on the politically incorrect; such as parents who public schools are deeming Christo-facists and not worthy of knowing what schools encourage their children to do to their bodies; such as getting fired and destroying businesses of people who won't toe the liberal line of what to think, do and say; being roundly accepted and applauded by liberals and progressives.

Liberals will be fooled that they can force the populace to think, do and say only what liberals, progressives, and Democrats say they will allow and thus able to change the nation into the utopia they envision with ease - by aligning with China.

The problem with you view is the internet over inflates the extreme sides of everything and has had some influences when 20 years ago its what we called the fringe and just kind of floated out there. Now it seems to be everywhere because some person in their mom's basement pushes a statement and 500 people repeat it and all of a sudden people think it is main stream.

The reality is we have a lot of people that are on both side of the aisle where people see 60/40 or better on just about everything, so the reality is there isn't some army within that could over come the real army that doesn't tweet...

He did mention an EMP suspended underneath a supposed (weather balloon). Just 2 or 3 would completely disable the nation.

And that would be a nuke.... not going to happen. Same reason a boat with a nuke would not get into New York harbor.

We are not really invadable, so they would need to use nukes.

Someone correct me if im wrong, but at this point we have everything from South Americans to Chinese Nationalists arriving in droves daily at the U.S. southern border. Who's to say were not being invaded as we speak? Human trafficking, guns trafficking, drug trafficking, etc. goes on continously day & night. With the current adminstration focued on everything non-essential to national defense who's to say were not "invadable"? Cartels have worked with governments before, espeically China who is the largest supplier of fentanyl....im just speculating what I believe to be a strong possibility.

China has their own worries on massive levels. We don't see it because they keep it quite. Trillions lost in the real estate market across the population, much of their food in imported and that isn't looking so good now with the Russian war, American companies going else where, not enough women due to 30 years of the one child policy, they would abort girls. No one having kids anyways as the men are becoming soy boys and women scare them now. So on and so forth...

An invasion doesn't have to be done militarily. If enough of a population immigrates to a country and replaces the resident population through higher birthrates, it can be achieved in a few decades without a shot being fired. Since we are currently a country with a very porous border to say the least, If I was China, I would just flood the US with people until you outnimbered them.

Sue them where?

You default payment on treasury notes you sold, enjoy watching your economy implode faster than it takes the big guy to get his 10%.

Just a small point of contention.

In "Red Dawn" its was Cuban and Soviet forces that invaded the USA if memory serves and not China.

And in the 2012 version, it was North Korean soldiers.

At the time of the original version, the US was in a Cold War with Russia.

I know ThirdEyeofHorus i was 9 in 1984.

Speaking of Cold Wars, i think we might be at the beginning of a new one.

Shame as well, never wanted my own children to grow up with the constant threat of nuclear annihilation on the horizon, same as my own generation.

It was nice when that wall came down, at least for a little while.

My sister got a piece of that wall when she visited the region. She gave it to my other sister.

its called the international court. In lieu of payment the amount of moeny they owe is more than our debt in total. And you cant default when the country attacks you, their debt becomes null and void.

I just watched a movie on Amazon Prime called "Dragon Day"

www.imdb.com...

The scenario is a massive cyber attack by the Chinese on America. It starts with the banking system first and then escalates from there.

I wont spoil the movie....but the basic premise is correct....take over a country without firing a single shot from within. Decent Movie.

That would be a smashing piece of memorabilia to have.

The tune that was number 1 at the time, i will always remember "Wind of Change" by the "Scorpions".
