Well Asia is heating up. Actually a lot of private behind the scenes now with the US military moving back into Asia.

1. US Army hunts for bases to deter China but logistics pose hurdle.
2. US military to gain expanded access to Philippines bases in efforts to counter China.
3. en.wikipedia.org...
4. en.wikipedia.org... I was surprised to see lots of bases there closed.
5. Naval Air Facility Atsugi
Misawa Air Base
Naval Forces Japan, Okinawa
United States Fleet Activities Sasebo
United States Fleet Activities Yokosuka

The Japanese, South Korean and U.S. navies conducted a rare joint exercise Wednesday, Tokyo announced, just days after North Korea fired a powerful long-range missile into Japan’s exclusive economic zone off Hokkaido.

A Maritime Self-Defense Force Aegis destroyer joined U.S. and South Korean navy destroyers in the Sea of Japan for the exercises intended to promote growing trilateral cooperation between the three countries amid growing regional security challenges, Japan’s Joint Staff said in a statement.

The last time the US and Japan held joint military drills was in October 2022, so it's only been four months. I'm guessing Biden wants to piss off North Korea, since his taunting of Russia hasn't brought the desired results yet.

Biden seems to be itching for a reason to activate the nuclear football, for some reason.

Wouldn't North Korea be more pissed off if Japan started their own nuclear weapons arsenal and started testing(?) their missles in the general direction of North Korea?

US gonna be battling Russia, China & North Korea and are gonna be in over their heads if they ain't to careful. US has lots of "allies" because they are a superpower but they also have lots of enemies that would love to knock them down a few steps.

The US has bought allies and their 'loyalty', but when the money runs out so will their 'friendship'.

The US has dominated those who refused to put a price on their sovereignty and it's destined to end one way or another.

I've always felt that way. Just like the US military was kicked out of the Philippines.

Why would they be? πŸ‡
What makes you think there's no missiles aimed at them now?πŸ‡

Anyone that doesn't think Japan has the means to attack with full force isn't aware of Japan's military might.

The war drums are reaching a crescendo.

Japan pledged $5.5 billion in humanitarian aid to Ukraine on Monday, nearly quadrupling the amount of money Tokyo has promised to Kyiv since Russia invaded its neighbor nearly a year ago.

Because when I goggle Japan fires missiles towards North Korea, all I get is North Korea fires missiles towards Japan. Japan sounds warning.

Did you ever bother to look at those bases that were closed? They were all very small Army camps that were better off being consolidated with larger bases.

No, this guy is itching for WW3. Most all of his posts are about going to war this better watch out that. Too much fear porn for me personally but he does have some good discussion points time to time
