Do believers have a conscience, or do they believe that comes from elsewhere and if not, do they pride themselves in it?

To me it looks like blind faith and it could be for a myriad of reasons and how I know this is because theologians argue everything and get nowhere.

Kant explains well what type of argument this turns in to.

Did you miss the entire part where two towns were wiped from the face of the earth because of sexual depravity? And then they end up getting drunk and boinking each other??? And you are just going to avoid the whole story in order to explain to me the whole story by saying 'ehhh that's not so weird lotsa fam' lies done dur dere dat'.

no, did you miss the part where i said for some reason or another? God has always known man was sinful and deprived and wiped the whole of mankind out once for it except one family, then when they repopulated the earth, there was only one family, who granted the sons had wives, but if they weren't any other people that means somewhere somebody was bumping uglies with a sister, cousin or somebody related to them there is no other way around it.

the way i understand they thought they were the only people left in the world, they were wrong. their children also turned out to be enemies of the hebrews/isralites the moabites and ammonites .. so there again there turned out to be a price for the sin they committed.

The Father explains this Himself when he says His ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are above our thoughts.

Which would make sense.

God created and gave us this life and He knows where we go afterwards.

In the grand scheme of things maybe God extinguishing your life is the equivalent of your mom shutting off your Xbox and grounding you for awhile.

I've heard that when we die and we learn the truth we will laugh.

There is so much more than this little blip called our life that we treasure so much.

There is discussion that corrupt was referring to genetically not human, and in that case, yes, those babies were corrupt - not human.

27 “For I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole purpose of God.

See now on one hand they tell us we will never know God's purpose, then now supposedly the whole purpose of God can be declared.

I find it interesting that God is less concerned about reproductive sex than he is about sex carried out solely for the sake of the act itself.

Really? Is that why maternal deaths were the number 1 cause of women's death pre-modern medicine? It seems that "God" is responsible for more reproductive sex related deaths than fornication related deaths.

Not very omnipotent if you are bound by rules at all let alone the ones you created.

Will you accuse Milton and Bradley for cheating at their games while simply changing the rule set for a limited or permanent time?

Lets not forget that Omnipotence means that God is in total control of himself and his creation.
Omniscience means that he is the ultimate criterion of truth and falsity, so that his ideas are always true.
Omnipresence means that since God's power and knowledge extend to all parts of his creation,
he himself is present everywhere

The full context is not provided by those who tell us that none of us know God's purpose. It works both ways.

How do you arrive at that conclusion when they literally went to a town full of people just before they decided on the cave.

And nowhere in the text does God or his angels say that he is going to destroy the world, only Sodom and Gomorrah because they were supposedly so depraved daughters slept with their fathers.

They had to be destroyed.

She just turned her head, nothing more.

This explains what you're not understanding. These historical stories represent deeper archetypes of existence that occurred upon the Messianic line. It is a great stagnation to look back towards your old debauchery.

"Likewise, just as it was in the days of Lot—they were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building, 29 but on the day when Lot went out from Sodom, fire and sulfur rained from heaven and destroyed them all— 30 so will it be on the day when the Son of Man is revealed. 31 On that day, let the one who is on the housetop, with his goods in the house, not come down to take them away, and likewise let the one who is in the field not turn back. 32 Remember Lot's wife."

Be stronger than she is. Don't look back. Rookie mistake for any runner. But seriously, she was warned. Her disobedience cost her.

And it could also be that the cataclysm set in motion was set in motion with predictable effects once underway.
