They (both sides, Republicans & Democrats and former high ranking military) have large amounts of money invested in these companies like Boeing,
Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman Corp, Textron, Raytheon Technologies etc etc etc. If you start digging around (it's not to hard to research this
info my brother did it a year or 2 ago and was showing me how many ex officials, ex military were all connected to these weapon making companies) you
will find many family and friends of high ranking US officials and former high ranking military officials have jobs with these companies, some of them
even are CEOs, upper mgt etc.
It's in the best interest of current and former US Government officials (especially higher ranking ones) their families, their close friends, former
high ranking military officials, former US Army Generals, they families etc etc to keep the war machine going full force. When the war machine slows
down a bit start giving billions and billions of dollars of our weapons away to "our allies" that are in war, even if that war is against a world
super power, gotta keep these weapons, airplanes & machines factories running 24/7, gotta keep those big bonuses coming in for the CEOs and managers
and workers, gotta keep those stock prices rising that all their family and friends are heavily invested in.
It's one of the reasons Biden didn't care about leaving Billions in weapons, planes, helicopters, tanks, Humvees, tactical gear, soliders technology
etc when he pulled out of Afghanistan, it just provided these companies they all own/invested in/work for stay busy.
It's all that matters, keep the war machine going, even fire $500 000 dollar missiles at balloons and hobby drones over US airspace. Fly those drones
over Yemen and fire these missiles at "terrorists" homes and kill a few children along the way, collateral damage or not keep these war factories
busy.
