Of course things were happening, there are always fires and accidents.
I also thought things were just being highlighted until I started researching it…

No, and No.

This is not evidence of incompetence. This is doing exactly what they planned on doing. In today's war, you are the target and everything around you is trying to kill you.

Countries used to fight each other and use army against army. But now that everyone is united under scary viruses and ufos, the new target is you.
