John Greenewald Sr. has passed

It is with great sadness that we have to announce the passing of my father, John Greenewald Sr.

On Thursday evening, my dad passed peacefully and painlessly as myself, my sister, and my mother were by his side.

There are not enough tears to shed nor enough words to share to properly give my dad, our hero, a sendoff.

I will say, though, that his strength; his wisdom; his love for his family; his sense of humor; his pride for his country as a United States Marine; his intelligence; his ingenuity; and above all else, his love for his wife, my mom, will live with us and be an inspiration to us all for the rest of our lives.

Yesterday, on Valentine's Day, it would be my mom and dad's 50th wedding anniversary.

They loved each other beyond words. 💔

I thought John had been a bit quiet recently , guess his father's health explains it.
