No one has any reason to believe me, but I truly believe there is an afterlife. I don't really want to be mocked for my experience but I am convinced and left with memories of being told things that I could not possibly just know, and that were proved true afterwards. I am no longer scared.

I've never feared death. I see it this way. If there is an afterlife, then okay, one moves on in that realm. And if there is not, I won't be around to fret about it.

I think, though, that if there is an afterlife, it won't be like our life here in the material world.

Cheers

to tell who lives their life to the fullest

Doesn't that imply an initial state of emptiness that has to be filled by a live lived to the fullest? It's a premise that doesn't add up when you look at small childrens, there is certainly no emptinessm

Joy and love is all you need to fill your live with, all else are futile exercise in filling something. When you get really good at it, it doesn't even matter what you do...

Well.... I know I was promised one anyway.

But once the Apocalypse is over I do wonder what form it's supposed to take. What the God of the Jews wants with so many people in the afterlife is a good question.
Revelation 7
9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
11 And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,
15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.
16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.
17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

With our thoughts we make the world.

A series of now, following each other until this moment of now.

The eternal is always now.

Great to hear.

People are often afraid of what they don't understand.

If you found your own proof then that's what you should stick to, and then investigate it further.

That's what I do anyway, and it works for me.

I agree with you - love is the greatest energy we know.

I guess what I meant was that people have to find their passion in life instead of being brainwashed by the media or the system, etc.

For example, If it makes a person happy to live a peaceful and private life, then they should work towards doing that.

Many people are greedy because they are empty inside, they can never get full no matter how much they have, and I think it's a disease of the time we live in.

I do believe there is definitely something, and if there really is, it is probably very much like the way heaven/hell is depicted in the movie 'What Dreams May Come' - basically, your personal heaven (or hell) is of your own making...

'What Dreams May Come' is an absolute masterpiece.

It is a wonderful movie, I don't mind admitting that I cried a little bit.

Well, I am a girl and I can also cry happy tears.

Anyway, most people don't know this, but people with anhedonia can hardly cry.

I love how Peter Fenwick starts out by not believing in the afterlife - to then believing in the afterlife.

Because an intelligent mind always learns.
