Life/energy is eternal. There is no such thing as "afterlife", because life is ever present. Life is the universe (visible and invisible) itself.
What you are probably referring to is "after-physical body" experience. If you are sensitive enough, you'll realize that you are never your body. You'll understand that the REAL you is the frequency/signal from your emotions (soul), which gets tuned/interpreted by your mind (spirit).
So, you were never a body to begin with. You are the soul, immaterial and eternal, that gets embodied for a period to experience physical life.

100% there is life before death, everything else...who knows

After many years of contemplation on the subject I have come to the conclusion that my thoughts on the matter probably have little to do with what actually transpires after death. Short version, It it is beyond my comprehension. Interesting to think about though.

Interesting conclusions with the science moving towards a conscious centric world view from a physical one.
When getting into some of the MK Ultra stuff around it does present a different angle. Basically how trauma is used to break a persons identity and allow other alters (identities) to inhabit a being. Does someone with dissociative identity disorder have a different past life experience for each alter or are some of these alters part of the same identity over many lives?
From some reports by those that make it back from the other side, sounds like a very peaceful and loving place where all our daily cares and worries just fade away.
Once we do settle into the afterlife will it be like, 'not this place again' as we are told to take a number and wait as the background spiritual bureaucracy eventually finds a place for our next ride on the merry go round?
What ever is in store on the other side, just need to be patient. We are all going to find out one day.
