why would we act against our own interests by doing any of those things? that's just dumb to weaken our position in such a way. without nukes there's only one thing that would happen, our enemies would nuke us then they would invade us and our allies. maybe we are imperialists but so is russia and if not for nukes we would be fighting ww3 right now with around a million already dead on both sides.

You’re the arbiter of truth now?

Again, the Ukrainian government supports and funds known white suprematist groups.

If a government supports those with Nazi sympathies what does that make them?

If Trump had funded and armed the KKK you’d be singing a different song.

No but your claim was still wrong. Unless you can actually offer any evidence that the ideology of Ukraine is Nazism.

Ukraine is funding and arming troops fighting against a foreign invader.

Here’s your gospel the BBC reporting on who the main protagonists in the Ukrainian revolution were.

m.youtube.com...

I have proven it, a government that supports and arms white supremacist hate groups isn’t enough evidence for you. A government facilitated power by the same groups.

Good to see you are keeping it up to date .

Since you are now acknowledging it as far right groups how did they do in the last election again?

Narratives change, facts don’t. The revolution was in 2014 genius.

And?

Last election was 2019.

Is that before or after 2014 genius?

A few points:

So the government was overthrown, driven by neo-Nazis as per the BBC report?
Those same far-right white supremacist groups are then absorbed into the Ukrainian military along with other neo-Nazi groups into various branches of government, like policing.
Those groups are then funded and armed in the fight against Russian separatists.
They’re then glorified by the government and painted as heroes.

You think the people of the UK would support the absorption of neo-Nazis into our military to be armed and glorified?
Can you imagine our prime minister pinning medals to a uniform which also adorns Nazi insignias?

Where’s the outrage? If supporting, arming, funding, legitimising and glorifying Nazis doesn’t suggest some sympathy for that ideology then I don’t know what does. Must be some libtard logic I’m not privy to.

Elections have nothing to do with the ideology of the leaders we vote for. Politics is about money and control, the people are just placated with narratives which rarely have anything to do with truth or meaning.

I can’t wait for the response which tangents off into avoiding these truths.

Yeah, the Ukrainian women and children are the very worst Nazis......faux outrage, gotta love that.

Meanwhile Putin is behaving like yer actual Nazis did in the Blitz.

There is no difference but carry on supporting and deflecting about that.

Pass the sick bag....

I don’t support either side.

Ukraine and NATO poked the Russian bear, it reacted as expected. There’s no right or wrong in any war, only death and destruction.

Ukrainian cheerleaders are just as bad as the Russians IMO. Taking a complex civil war and spinning it into a narrative that conveniently benefits the western military industrial complex is hardly a good summary of the situation.

I blame leaders for wars, not the poor people who die fighting them.

Simplifying this into Russia = bad and Ukraine = Good is the problem.

How did Ukraine poke Russia?

Russia is poking Ukraine.

As you well know, Ukraine isn't going to join NATO any time soon.

Yes, there is right and wrong in any war.

The Nazis were wrong in WW2, so was Japan, and so is Putin, despite your hand wringing.

Putin invaded Ukraine. For no good reason.

The consequence of that is a meat grinder.

For which the blame is his and his alone.

In simpleton land if you can ignore centuries of regional conflict sure. Never going to join NATO? Remind me who funds and supplies the Ukrainian war machine.

I’m guessing you think Saddam had weapons of mass destruction and Afghanistan was a breeding ground for Islamic terror?

Everything from Russian media is lies and propaganda but Western media should be believed without question. You two are hilarious.

NATO expansion into former Soviet states never happened?

There is a reason why they are "former Soviet States" and why they don't want to go back there.

Because of Putin's war, they are rushing for NATO protection.

Obviously.

Who’s done more invading and bombing since the collapse of the Soviet Union, NATO or Russia?

Globally you’re more likely to die from a NATO fired weapon than Russian.

How many dead Muslims does it take to ensure freedom?
