Dutch has posted that there is an x-class flare on the eastern limb earth facing, so that might or might not shake things up, just a heads up, as it might shake things up a bit more. The particles should hit in 78 hours or so. So it looks like we might get some Auroas down south.

Are the UFO shootdowns a way to distract from this or vice versa?

Or are they two unrelated events

welp for the moment I am going to hope for no real disruptions and a great light show up in alaska.

If I see either base near me doing anything different ill be sure to comment here.

Well there’s this fairly well know verse from 2 Peter 3

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

And here’s another verse with something I never realized before.

Revelation 7-16

It’s about the multitude in white robes that came through the great tribulation.

Hunger and thirst sound like elements that would contribute to tribulation but what’s this reference to the sun mean?

“They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.”

Interesting NorthOfStuff! Probably referring to something really powerful, or some great force, makes the hair on my neck stand up

These solar events are the worst, not much we can do to stop the damage if its that kind of event

3 days ago in Japan we saw this around 7 pm in the evening. It was at our sunset. It was the most unusual event I have ever seen. I thought the sun was going to explode.

X1.1 solar flare

Saturday, 11 February 2023 18:59 UTC

Today's headline grabbing event was of course the X1.1 solar flare (X3-strong) from sunspot region 3217. The solar flare however rather impulsive and it is not likely that is launched a coronal mass ejection into space. We are still analysing other events that took place today to see if any of those have a chance to impact our planet. We are nevertheless keeping an eye out for more solar flares as we have a lot of sunspot regions on the disk today with sunspot region 3217 being the most potent of them all. Keep an eye on this place for the latest news and data!
