That was a cylinder-shaped object, the size of a car, grayish color, traveling 20 -40 mph, at 40.000'

This is getting expensive..
Is Emporer Justine gonna pay for that f-22 run and the missile and pilots paycheck?

Can't help thinking this is more than a balloon threat..
For all we know the alien war has begun.

Right after this happened, Fox interviewed US Air Force: Lt. Gen. David Deptula who said ‘high altitude object’ should be a ‘wake up call’ to rebuild our Airforce. He then started a rant stating how our AirForce is so depleted and neglected that it is unable to adequately respond to NORAD requirements, and as he was relishing this fact, he was immediately cut off by Cavuto
who injecting "Thank you General... " , and then he was gone."

Link: Fox Cavuto interview with Deptula

He had also said earlier this thing appeared more like the TicTac's we have been witnessing. Is it possible that the thing just disappeared before the missile hit it?

Whatever is going on is scary. We are being #ed with to observe how we respond to airspace events.

Purpose, origin & size of the latest unidentified object shot down by the U.S. over Canada is unknown, per White House official. It was closely tracked over last 24 hours & Biden was continually briefed. He authorized U.S. fighter aircraft assigned to NORAD to conduct operation.

So who do we bill for these Sidewinders?

We have to protect our borders so we have to shoot them down, and it seems a Sidewinder is the cheapest missile that will do the job at that altitude. Do we bill the Chinese each time this happens? Can this keep happening?

I mean, it's already a bad week for China. Sure we lost a half a million dollar missile, but they lost a multi-million dollar satellite. This this was a low orbit satellite that was mounted onto a balloon for an even lower orbit, but it's still a satellite worth a few mil. On top of that, they got embarrassed and exposed internationally, plus they got six companies banned for trade. That's a bad week for the Chinese.

I say we make it worse and bill them for the whole operation to shoot it down. Take it out of our next big trade.

I'm thinking we are being fleeced both JB and JT are trying to act like the airspace is secure, when it's been penetrated 3 times in the last week.

Readout of President Biden’s Call with Prime Minister Trudeau of Canada
HOME
BRIEFING ROOM
STATEMENTS AND RELEASES
Earlier today, President Biden spoke with Prime Minister Trudeau on the unidentified, unmanned object in North American air space. The object was closely tracked and monitored by North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) over the last 24 hours and the President has been continually briefed by his national security team since the object was detected. Out of an abundance of caution and at the recommendation of their militaries, President Biden and Prime Minister Trudeau authorized it to be taken down. President Biden authorized US fighter aircraft assigned to NORAD to conduct the operation and a US F-22 shot down the object in Canadian territory in close coordination with Canadian authorities. The leaders discussed the importance of recovering the object in order to determine more details on its purpose or origin. President Biden and Prime Minister Trudeau commended NORAD’s and U.S. Northern Command’s strong and effective partnership and agreed to continue their close coordination to detect, track, and defend our airspace.

Well, this smells like a group effort (i.e. military-intelligence-political) "OP."

I'd think the real powers at the apex would be slicker than this, so these car sized balloons are likely not the beginning of Project Blue-beam. I'd hope they'd break out their miles-wide holograms and rods from god for that.

Perhaps these "Tic Tacky balloons" are an average IQ level distraction from some detrimental news article that the captured press couldn't ignore dropped on a Friday to avoid eyes?

Just because a Sidewinder explodes, does not mean it hit the target.

Even if the missile misses its target, its warhead explodes, spewing fragments into the air. all directions which is kind of a fail safe if the target heat signature changes or it loses lock-on in the active last seconds of interception.

We will need physical evidence of wreckage to know if we hit something this small. However, as far as aliens go... we knew well enough back then not to fire on those small tick-tacs once we observed how incredibly fast they respond to being even near them. I doubt if one of those could be taken out by a Sidewinder, but who the hell knows.

In the unlikely possibility that these small objects were the same as the Nimitz Tic-Tac , I would hope they just disappeared before the Sidewinder got on top of them. In fact, they may have figured out that we thought they were another Chinese floater, and gave us a pass.

There has to be a small possibility we are doing this to test ourselves...

Circumstantially these new objects are approximately the same size as the previous tic tac UAPs the Airforce has admitted to encountering. Therefore the US makes numerous faux UAP tic tac balloons and releases them to test our overall capabilities from detection to intercept to engage

F-22 fighter jets have now taken out three objects in the airspace above the U.S. and Canada over seven days, a stunning development that is raising questions on just what, exactly, is hovering overhead and who has sent them.

At least one of the objects downed was believed to be a spy balloon from China, but the other two had not yet been publicly identified. While Trudeau described the object Saturday as “unidentified,” a NORAD spokesman, Maj. Olivier Gallant, said the military had determined what it was but would not reveal details.

Trudeau said Canadian forces would recover the wreckage for study. The Yukon is westernmost Canadian territory and the among the least populated part of Canada.

Just about a day earlier, White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said an object roughly the size of a small car was shot out of the skies above remote Alaska. Officials couldn’t say if it contained any surveillance equipment, where it came from or what purpose it had.

Kirby said it was shot down because it was flying at about 40,000 feet (13,000 meters) and posed a “reasonable threat” to the safety of civilian flights, not because of any knowledge that it was engaged in surveillance.

Ah, maybe the balloons are coming to turn our attention away from the train derailment that might have rendered Ohio and neighbors uninhabitable?

Change the date to the 12th and the location to Upper Michigan, and the Press Release would apply to today's Michigan flight restrictions also.

Norad give itself a pat on the back yesterday for "successfully shooting at" a UFO. They didn't say if they were successful in hitting it.
