Good point, and there seem to be several observatorys in Hawaii , i am not expert ,but i could imagine lasers might harm opticts .

Looks like a mapping system why would they need to map terrain ?

Remember when they had people convinced Russia was starting fires in California with "space lasers"?

There is no way in hell that came from outer space. The atmosphere is too thick to pierce and create a stable laser image from above 80k ft! They are covering up something they do not understand or they know what it is and are trying to use it as a red herring to attack China.

IMO its aliens saying "enough is enough" we are about to show the rest of humanity (outside of the loop) we have always been here and you all are getting out of hand once again! lol

I thought lidar light/laser is not visible ....but i really dont know is there maybe other versions that could use more visible and green.

Some cars have lidar system, but i dont think he beams are visible to human eye .

It could be just a high altitude balloon with a disco laser attached.

you are correct they usually use lasers of lower power and typically not visible


i just don't see why they would be rastering a SMALL portion of land and than shut it off


they clearly wanted this to be seen, why do it at an observatory if they didnt want it seen.


also how do we know its not from a high altitude aircraft.

the beams looked pretty collimated to me and to maintain such a tight beam from all the way up in space shooting down into our thick atmosphere would diffuse the lasers.

it looked like it was scanning that area.



better question is what else is at that observatory that someone might be interested in

Probably just testing their technology. It's scary to consider that if those lasers were made to be powerful enough in the future, even distant future because I don't know how far along humans are in making super powerful lasers, those could be used as weapons of war to attack places and things.

Picture a naval vessel underneath the area where lasers are shining down in the video, then it erupts in explosions and flames. Or, a city with the same outcome, it's out of a sci fi movie.

I had an electrician friend who would buy the parts to create hand lasers, make them, and then sell them to people. He told me that you can make them powerful enough to burn things, and that's just buying parts from the internet and doing it yourself. I'd imagine it is within the realm of doable science that a nation could make lasers powerful enough to put on satellites or on anything for that matter that could burn through thick metal to ignite things.

Well it can do that and more on the moon there is a miror you can shine a lazer on it to check the moon distance from earth with the time it take to come back

I believe it would be well within the realm of possibility that Israel or any other technology advanced nation with a history of espionage and subtle activity would use a space based laser for nefarious purposes. America has carried out many less then honourable exercises against its allies. Are they not suspect number 1 for blowing up the nord stream? Who is to say Israel is incapable of playing those kind of games.

On a dry year for example starting bush fires or taking out a private aircraft crossing the ocean.

I am not saying I whole heartedly believe it to be a fact no. I am saying it’s a possibility. And not so crazy a thought as it initially appeared.

China and Russia are angry at USA leadership. Just one taking active anti-USA measures is bad enough. But both doing so, should scare every American living in the continental U.S..
