High-altitude long endurance (HALE)
High-altitude, long-endurance (HALE) aircraft are non-weaponized military drones capable of flying at 60,000 ft (18,000 m) over 32 hours, like the USAF RQ-4 Global Hawk or its variants used for ISR. This is above and longer than Medium-Altitude, Long-Endurance (MALE) aircraft flying between 25,000 and 50,000 ft (7,600 and 15,200 m) during 24 hours, more vulnerable to anti-aircraft defense, like the USAF ISR/strike MQ-9 Reaper or its variants.
High-altitude platform station (HAPS)
defined by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) as "a station on an object at an altitude of 20 to 50 km and at a specified, nominal, fixed point relative to the Earth" in its ITU Radio Regulations (RR). HAPS can also be the abbreviation for high-altitude pseudo-satellite.

Just heard on FOX news…..live desk anchor update actually saying the Ufologists golden words…..”Unidentified Flying Objects are invading North American airspace”…….in connection with the Canada incident….then the anchor went on to say that they shut down the airspace over Montana for awhile in a separate incident then said it was a radar anomaly….
Hmmmmm….a radar anomaly? In Montana

I say MUFON or similar need to get someone to the debris site before journo's are invited to photograph it in some military base office.
If not at least use a high enough definition camera so the damn note can be read this time.
I was recently involved in a project that tasked me with deeply contemplating the technology that could be brought to bear when it comes to learning more about unidentified flying objects, regardless of their origin. During this process, it hit me that just as the proliferation of new fighter-borne active electronically scanned array (AESA) radars was key in detecting mysterious objects with low radar cross-sections that were flying in the vicinity of U.S. Navy fighter aircraft, a reality that The War Zone was first to report on in detail, the looming Pentagon initiative to field very capable infrared search and track systems (IRSTs) could have even a larger impact. It could even serve as the final technological element needed to springboard potentially revolutionary data collection on the phenomenon. As it sits now, not only is the Navy's Super Hornet fleet slated to get IRSTs very soon, but the Air Force's fighter aircraft tasked with protecting the homeland, and the F-15C, in particular, are also set to get these sensors.
What is IRST? IRST is one way to detect and track objects that emit electromagnetic radiation – or infrared signatures. More simply put, it's a type of sensor system that can detect and track threats at long ranges

The object was detected by ground radar, then intercepted by F22 fighters which 'identified the object'.
Not of your doing……but I think ‘identified the object’ is a play on words…….like “Hey! there it is, I see it”….….not like “Hell!…..I know what that object is”
Imo…

We were standing in the kitchen and suddenly into our view appeared the object. It was headed in the opposite direction of the airplane towards mt. Redoubt, yet slightly to the left from our point of view.
At this point I went out onto the back deck and just watched at this thing until I couldn't anymore.
It was oval/oblong in shape and very bright/plain white in color.
It was completely absent of wings and seemed totally silent. The thing just hovered in a fixed position,'moving at a consistent speed until out of sight.

I haven't dismissed the possibility of these objects being Chinese in origin. Could be a psy-op to screw with our defenses and civilian population. Measuring to see how we re-act.
