no to tell you your business, but taking the generator to the small engine guy and having him change the carb won't cost too much, and after that, making sure you have a little gas, and starting the thing up every few weeks for a few minutes, might help you out. Maybe you won't have to wait for the Red Dawn invasion, and you can just make it through the next ice storm.

become a predator and live off your stupid neighbors that tell everybody else what they have.
nah just joking, just pointing out people that get on line talking sh@@ about what they have only invites others to their place for resupplying efforts.
good thing there's no info to id who and where you are in your profile. one thing i do recommend get out of the brubs if you can, start buying bean bullets and bandages, and a # pot load of bic lighters and put them everywhere.
Probably because deep down i dont think the #### is going to hit the fan.

Because it probably won’t, in the exact way you envision it.
There is no doubt rougher times are coming. What that actually looks like, no one really knows.
You’d be doing wonders for yourself and your family, if you got out of the big city. That would be the most important step to take, even if the sh!t never hits the fan.
Among other item I have protein weight gain powder with veggie powder It is something to keep you alive if you are on the run or hiding while your place is looted this will keep you going and it's portable

I mean how prepared can you really be ?
Im screwed if the S### hits the fan . I live in the suburbs of a big city , II have a generator but it hasnt been started in years and last time I tried wouldn't start
I Have one 5 gallon gas can about half full. My freezer is pretty well stocked but alot of good that does if we lose power. No fireplace or wood burning stove.
I have some canned goods but minimal lol. I couldnt start a fire without matches or a bic, I know nothing about gardening and growing food .
Never been a hunter dont even own a gun ATM. I could fish But Im no where near a lake or river.
I am just effed if the SHTF

During BLM/Antifa riots I bought a bunch of 2X4s & boxes of nails from Home Depot so I can board up my windows/doors, also bought a junior-sized shotgun so I could at least fend off hostiles at first.
Probably have 2 month's worth of non-perishables but living in Northeast with no generator or wood stove means I could freeze well-before then.
At least you're thinking about it, probably ahead of most of your neighbors!

The last thing I'd do in a SHTF scenario is start up a generator and announce to the world that I'm a prepper for the few hours/days I had before my gas supply ran out.
Generators are a great asset for short power outages, but I prefer to take that time to 'unplug' and brush up on my 'roughing it' skills. One doesn't realize just how bad noise pollution is until the grid goes offline for awhile.
If SHTF from an invading foreign enemy prepping makes sense; if it's internal, nobody will be able to hide for long. I'd rather be at ground zero and get it over with.
