The Bible tells us about our universe and it runs contrary to materialism. The Bible's view is the only view supported by science. The Bible says the
universe is held together. Materialism says we live in an independent physical reality.
I will cover some of the science that supports the Bible. Remember God Creates what science discovers. Let's first look at some verses.
Colossians 1:16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or
authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.
17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
Hebrews 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had
by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
2 Corinthians 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal;
but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which
do appear.
The Bible tells us how the universe should look. This is accurate and all of science supports that the universe(our 3rd dimension) is held together by
the true nature of reality that we can't see because we're stuck in 3 dimensions of space and 1 dimension of time.
Let's go over the science:
1. We have a perception of time that's faulty. Einstein said,""The distinction between past, present, and future is only a stubbornly persistent
illusion." In his book Relativity he expounds on this:
Since there exists in this four dimensional structure [space-time] no longer any sections which represent "now" objectively, the concepts of
happening and becoming are indeed not completely suspended, but yet complicated. It appears therefore more natural to think of physical reality as a
four dimensional existence, instead of, as hitherto, the evolution of a three dimensional existence.
So we experience the universe within our frame of reference from 3 dimensions. So we're under the illusion of moment to moment time. The Bible says
the same thing.
Psalms 90:2 Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou
art God.
The Bible talks about everlasting to everlasting before Cantor discovered infinities within infinities.
2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one
day.
Again, this clearly shows that God is outside of our perception of time. What this is say is God is eternal and without time. We're limited to 3
dimensions of space and 1 dimension of time.
Ask yourself, why do we have this faulty perception of time? Why are we limited to 3 dimensions of space? Why is our illusion of a 3 dimensional
universe held together and not an independent physical reality? The Bible is the Word of God that's why. It tells us our universe is held together
and it is.
2. Dimensionless constants help hold the universe together
The Bible says Jesus holds the visible and the invisible together. Dimensionless constants of nature have no units of measurement like the speed of
light is measured in meters or miles. This constants like the fine structure constant show up in equations but there's no physical explanation for
them.
As fundamental constants go, the speed of light, c, enjoys all the fame, yet c’s numerical value says nothing about nature; it differs
depending on whether it’s measured in meters per second or miles per hour. The fine-structure constant, by contrast, has no dimensions or units.
It’s a pure number that shapes the universe to an astonishing degree — “a magic number that comes to us with no understanding,” as Richard
Feynman described it. Paul Dirac considered the origin of the number “the most fundamental unsolved problem of physics.”
The constant is everywhere because it characterizes the strength of the electromagnetic force affecting charged particles such as electrons and
protons. “In our everyday world, everything is either gravity or electromagnetism. And that’s why alpha is so important,” said Holger Müller, a
physicist at the University of California, Berkeley. Because 1/137 is small, electromagnetism is weak; as a consequence, charged particles form airy
atoms whose electrons orbit at a distance and easily hop away, enabling chemical bonds. On the other hand, the constant is also just big enough:
Physicists have argued that if it were something like 1/138, stars would not be able to create carbon, and life as we know it wouldn’t
exist.
We don't touch anything. The reason your hand doesn't fall through a tableis because the electrons in the table are creating a stronger force than
the electrons in your hand and your brain interprets this as hard or soft.
Why Physics Says You Can Never Actually Touch Anything
If you're reading this right now, it's a sure bet that you are touching something, be it your cellphone, laptop, chair, desk, or a nice plush
bed with Egyptian-cotton sheets (we can dream, right?). Speaking of that nice plush, comfy bed, I hate to shatter the illusion, but you aren't
actually touching it.
All in all, isn't it amazing how these things relate? It's a fundamental scientific truth that things are often not as they seem, or at least,
they are not as we perceive them to be. It throws everything we think about the universe into a new light.
Why are things not as they seem if the universe is an independent physical reality? We don't see time as it is and we don't touch things. The Bible
tells us why things appear this way. It's because the universe is held together by the Word(Jesus) of His Power.
4. We see in 2 dimensions
Why do we see in 2D instead of actually seeing in 3D? If you look at a 3D object, you can't see the full object without turning it to the other side.
Science tells us we see in 2D and the brain creates a 3rd dimension. If you ever watch illusionists, they use these blind spots in the brains
perception to fool you.
For instance, you may see a wheel spinning backwards on a car but we know it isn't spinning backwards. Our brain is telling us to see something
that's not objectively real. When the brain can't make out the image it should project it just guesses and you get optical illusions. A question can
be asked as to how do we know the wheel is spinning backwards? If all we are is the material brain, how do we know something the material brain
doesn't know?
We live in a three-dimensional world, but everything we see is first recorded on our retinas in only two dimensions. So how does the brain
represent 3-D information? In a new study, researchers for the first time have shown how different parts of the brain represent an object's location
in depth compared to its 2-D location. www.sciencedaily.com...
Why can't we just see the 3rd dimension? Why do we have to perceive it? The universe is held together like the Bible says and it's not an independent
physical reality.
5. Subatomic particles aren't real in the physical sense
What we call subatomic "particles" aren't like particles of salt or sand. They don't have an independent existence. They're always attached to their
wave nature and to the quantum field. Here's quotes from Heisenberg and Planck.
“I think that modern physics has definitely decided in favor of Plato. In fact the smallest units of matter are not physical objects in the
ordinary sense; they are forms, ideas which can be expressed unambiguously only in mathematical language.”
― Werner Heisenberg
“[T]he atoms or elementary particles themselves are not real; they form a world of potentialities or possibilities rather than one of things or
facts.”
― Werner Heisenberg
“As a man who has devoted his whole life to the most clearheaded science, to the study of matter, I can tell you as a result of my research about
the atoms this much: There is no matter as such! All matter originates and exists only by virtue of a force which brings the particles of an atom to
vibration and holds this most minute solar system of the atom together. . . . We must assume behind this force the existence of a conscious and
intelligent Mind. This Mind is the matrix of all matter.”
― Max Planck, The New Science
So the building blocks of matter aren't real in the physical sense, why? Again, the Bible tells us, the universe is held together. This brings us to
number 6.
6. The universe isn't locally real
Again, there's nothing in science that supports the materialist view of an independent physical reality.
Death by experiment for local realism
A fundamental scientific assumption called local realism conflicts with certain predictions of quantum mechanics. Those predictions have now been
verified, with none of the loopholes that have compromised earlier tests.
The sense of smell comes down to vibrations and quantum tunneling. This means we smell food, we don't taste it. This is why when your nose is stuffy
you can't experience food.
Think about it, you don't taste Pizza, a Chicken Salad or that steak at Outback, you experience it through VIBRATIONS and quantum tunneling. That's
just AMAZING!
Smell loss affects millions of people worldwide. At first glance it doesn’t sound all that bad, but the sense of smell is closely intertwined
with the ability to enjoy food – research suggests up to 80 percent of flavor is based on smell, not taste, and the loss of one’s ability to enjoy
simple things like favorite foods and drinks can lead to depression and feelings of isolation.
No matter what causes smell loss, it greatly affects the sense of taste. Without smell, foods start to taste bland and unsatisfying, causing anosmics
and hyposmics to lose interest in eating which can in turn lead to depression. cst.ufl.edu...
If there's this independent physical reality why don't we just taste food? Why do we have to convert quantum vibrations from odor molecules into
the experience of eating different foods?
8. Holographic duality
The Holographic Universe has been around for a while and it has a solid foundation in physics. It's based on things like black hole thermodynamics and
the Bekenstein Bound. Basically, a volume of space is proportional to information on a 2D surface area surrounding that volume. So your closet can't
be filled with actual matter occupying its total volume or it would collapse into a black hole. It's a holographic projection of information of a 2D
surface area surrounding that volume. So the 3rd dimension would be an illusion as said by Susskind and the Scientist in the video below. If there
were an objective material universe, why talk about the universe as a hologram? Susskind starts at 4:09:
There goes that word illusion again.
9. Godel's Theorem
I just did a post on this:
What Godel's Theorems boil down to is that there's no truth in mathematics or physics itself. It's unprovable. The only truth comes from outside of
the physical. The only truth comes from our understanding that something is true, not from the thing itself.
The Bible says, Lean not unto thine own understanding.
This is true. Why would you listen to an atheist or a materialist whose understanding is limited to 3 dimensions of space and 1 dimension of time?
They know nothing about the nature of reality outside of their limited perception of time.
Here's a lecture by Stephen Hawking call Godel and the end of Physics yclept.ucdavis.edu...
10. Evolutionary Game Theory shows reality an illusion
Donald Hoffman wrote a really good book called The Case Against Reality. Here's an article on him.
The Evolutionary Argument Against Reality
The cognitive scientist Donald Hoffman uses evolutionary game theory to show that our perceptions of an independent reality must be illusions.
I think that’s absolutely true. The neuroscientists are saying, “We don’t need to invoke those kind of quantum processes, we don’t need
quantum wave functions collapsing inside neurons, we can just use classical physics to describe processes in the brain.” I’m emphasizing the
larger lesson of quantum mechanics: Neurons, brains, space … these are just symbols we use, they’re not real. It’s not that there’s a
classical brain that does some quantum magic. It’s that there’s no brain! Quantum mechanics says that classical objects — including brains —
don’t exist. So this is a far more radical claim about the nature of reality and does not involve the brain pulling off some tricky quantum
computation. So even Penrose hasn’t taken it far enough. But most of us, you know, we’re born realists. We’re born physicalists. This is a
really, really hard one to let go of. www.quantamagazine.org...
Here's a video:
I will stop here but I can list 9 or 10 more examples. The point is, there's nothing that supports materialism. The universe(3rd dimension) is held
together as the Bible says.
So the question one should ask is, why are you seeing the world this way instead of reality outside of our perception? Jesus says, I'm not of this
world, God is outside of our perception of time, Paul went to the Third Heaven and there's multiple heavens like the Highest Heavens.
The Bible tells us there's a reality that holds our reality together. It says this in Revelation:
Revelation 6:14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man,
hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
In the end, the veil on this 3rd dimension will roll away and Christ will come down into our 3rd dimension from the reality outside of our limited
perception. Sadly, people will see Christ and they still will not repent.
This 3rd dimension is collapsing all around. There was a big earthquake in Turkey tonight that did damage in Syria, shooting down Chinese spy
balloons, Russia and Ukraine, Universal religion forming, pandemics, AI, quantum computing, genetic engineering, brain chips, economic collapse,
digital currency, climate change fanatics wanting to reduce the population and the doomsday clock closer to destruction than it ever has been.
Doomsday clock advances to 90 seconds to midnight — the closest to apocalypse it's ever been www.livescience.com...
Christ is returning!
I just Pray that that people open their hearts and realize we're in the 1st Heaven. We're seeing what we think is reality in a very limited way. You
have to ask why. The answer will lead you to the Way, the Truth and the Life JESUS CHRIST!
Most exo- and especially eso-teric teachings have clues about reality embedded in their teachings, to rely on one source only is not beneficial if
your quest for truth is an honest one.
if it's just an effort in confirmation bias, well.... carry on....

Most? Not all? So you're confirming that the OP could be one of the exceptions?
oh! look at you, so quaint. I get it, these questions are hard to elaborate further, especially when you got nothing to add other than make your stuck
panty known.
But we do touch things and can discern very distinct differences between things/objects/other atoms, ask any blind person.
That's what it means to feel and to process the feelings which these objects convey.
To an AI (or some Quantum Physicists) objects will just always be different densities maybe, but to the humans they entail so much more (love, beauty,
hate, sorrow, joy, wonder, ect)

It's a fascinating subject of debate because to me, certain flavors of "enlightenment" radiate a prejudice towards 3D substance and the ideological
limitations that accompany it. Mortality, entropy, the rotation of elements from one metabolic process to the next, the spiralling ebb and flow of
society from one millennia to the next, the colossal uncertainty that lurks just beyond the night sky while we ponder our insecurities, it's all
terribly underwhelming and even insulting to some minds who are convinced that humans deserve... something.
Personally I think that ego tends to make a lot of noise scaring off its own shadow and those noises are sometimes confused for philosophy.
