Sillyness is catching on world-wide. Smoking now makes one an outlaw?

No, it's only illegal if they smoke in certain places.

Well, when you say outside, and business can't allow you to smoke inside, and they are banning the sale of, they are saying you can't buy it, smoke it at a business, out even smoke outside. Can't acquire it, can't smoke it. But if you do manage to acquire it, you can smoke in your private domain as long as nobody knows you're doing it!

It's pretty definitive, no?

If you read the law you can see that when they say "outside" they mean places where several people gather, like any public street or similar, smoking on a field, for example, is not forbidden.

The sale was not banned, where did you get that idea?

For those interested in it, here are two links:
1 - REGLAMENTO DE LA LEY GENERAL PARA EL CONTROL DEL TABACO (REGULATION OF THE GENERAL LAW FOR TOBACCO CONTROL);
2 - LEY GENERAL PARA EL CONTROL DEL TABACO
GENERAL LAW FOR TOBACCO CONTROL

The topic of this discussion is the first link, other things, like the penalties, are in the second.

Yeah, that's Mexicos biggest problem.
It's not like they have violent cartels to worry about or massive corruption, no, it's those darn smokers they need to crack down on.

Spent a week in Mexico about 35 years ago and never went back.

i was there long enough to look, turn around and go back to texas.

we should crop dust the border with all the fent we get from them.
it's as much chem warfare as them bringing it in and selling it.

Well that would certainly help cut down on the outside smoking...at least at the border anyway!

Might send a message how dangerous both the border and smoking outside really are!

Where did you learn that? Or were you told? The way I look at it the depopulation agenda is based on mRNA vaccines they are heavily invested and do not want to have to cause a full-scale world war. A lot of countries have signed up to ban smoking by 2025. Simply because that is the year they will release a Coronavirus which will depopulate at a full speed taking the world population down to 5oo million. this cannot be done if people are smoking nicotine ciggies as nicotine basically disables the coronavirus. Gates has been working his ass off trying to get the nicotine content of commercial tobacco plants to a minimal amount. He has been doing this for your own good.

I learned it by working with smokers. Thankfully my asthma got better in the last 8 years.

We just have to wait until 2025 to know if that's true or not.

I wonder how Mexico is going to enforce the ban?

The law also talks about that, they encourage the people to point those that break the law to the authorities.

This is aimed solely at Mexico's dozen active volcanoes .

It's time they quit smoking ,

and littering the countryside with ash .!
