I don't know why I should even care what he says anymore.

I would have thought the press would cover for him by "framing" the utterance in some virtue-filled presentation with flags and music... you know... like the "Jan 6" thingy Hollywood produced for his minions.

Just posting this because I saw it brought up elsewhere, FWIW not to get all technical, I could understand God bless our troops a bit more than God protect our troops, semantics and all.

Do we want to know?

We have "troops" all over the globe, some in hellish places, including Special Forces in Ukraine, not to mention floating all over and under the world's oceans. It's not an unreasonable thing for him to say. If you're looking for yet another "gaffe," this isn't one of them. If you think so, you're the on with a problem.

Yes we do. But given recent events, and our insistent messaging about "protecting democracy in Ukraine," I was just wondering.

Not at all implying that we're not constantly relying on our military to face dangers. In fact, I would say the real heroes are NEVER known.

I'll have to check now but I'm almost sure Ive heard other Presidents say God protect our troops during times when they have been sent into harm's way or if we are actively at war.

Our American soldiers should have been addressed as such. God protect our soldiers. ( not troops ) That sounds odd to me, but he is Commander in Chief and personally that is probably the right thing to say, but coming from him it would have been better received if he had said " soldiers".
Considering he was looking continuously at his watch while 13 dead soldiers were being transferred out of the military plane.

From comparing how our military people interact with BIDEN vs TRUMP, it looks like they love Donald Trump, and despise Joe Biden.

But by all means, If You Have Video or Audio of Donald Trump calling our military troops "losers" and "suckers", please share it...or a link to it. Otherwise, consider the source a liar.

We have Army Soldiers, Navy Sailors, U.S. Marines, Air Force Airmen, Coast Guards, and Space Force Guardians. Much easier and quicker to say “troops” to cover all that.

Of all Bidens many many many gaffes I don’t think is one of them. American troops are stationed all over globe as well as on American soil. If anything this is one of the few sentences he got right, even if by chance.

I mean if I was a troop I would like that the leader of the country I was serving under called for my protection. Even a senile old pedophile can be right once a term.

You have something completely to back up your post? Although Biden did call the soldiers "stupid bastereds", nothing really was made of it out in the public, but us Military personal, active and no active have some very meaningful thoughts of what the CinC had to say on video.
