The thing is! .. if you are not an atheist as you suggest, then the whole premise of consciousness being an epiphenomena derived from electrical activity in the brain, would not correlate with your own conscious, spiritual experiences.

You could find it helpful to understand the esoteric nature of our existence. To do that you first have to sidestep your programming, so you can see beyond your ingrained perceptions.

People are being bombarded with very disruptive electromagnetic frequencies, increasingly, which is creating a disconnect with our higher consciousness and as a result is creating more of a barrier to our ability to perceive our potential. This is the perfect time to present us with another piece of “scientists have discovered” BS, that perceptually reduces human existence to biosludge.

This is a flat earth theory .. probably being rolled out for the same reasons .. a little bit of Alice in Wonderland for the masses.

That 'consciousness outside the body remains when someone dies' is a tricky Lie :
after someone dies the consciousness will either be ruled by God -- or by the evil realm

Being as I'm your regular thick person Mr Neemeh's first statement is a bit backward. IE. " When I feel happiness, my brain will create a distinctive pattern of complex neural activity". The way I see it your brain will create a complex pattern of neural activity and THAT is what gives you the feeling of happiness, not the other way round.

Seems quite complicated to me. To not believe in a Supreme Creator, I have to assume that if I shake a box of plastic shavings and bits of metal long enough, it will at some point become a watch, fully wound and keeping perfect time, set to the correct time.
