This year marks the 50th anniversary of the end of the Tuskegee syphilis study. Tomorrow, I will be joined by colleagues & public health leaders, as we honor the 623 African American men, their suffering & sacrifice, and our commitment to ethical research and practice.

President Joe Biden seems to intentionally pick people to run our government agencies, who are way outside of what most Americans consider "normal".

Rochelle Walensky was born in the United States in 1969, and as a medical doctor, knows what Syphilis is.

If we as a nation make it to 2024, I hope Americans realize the huge mistake they made in 2020, and install ETHICAL and HONEST U.S. President this next time around!

I remember the Deer-in-the-Headlight look Lester Holt gave President Trump when Trump pointed out how horrible the U.S. Government has treated entire classes and groups of human beings.

Good thread mate and always interesting to see those 'actually involved' - there were also horrific studies in Guatemala which were described as 'like something right out of Dr. Mengele's notebook'.

Over 750 victims have sued The Rockefeller Foundation, the Johns Hopkins Hospital, the Johns Hopkins University, The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and the Johns Hopkins Health System Corporation, alleging that they were the driving force behind human experiments in which vulnerable populations of Guatemalans were deceived and intentionally exposed to syphilis, gonorrhea and other venereal diseases and pathogens, without giving any informed consent.

The experiments targeted school children, orphans, psychiatric hospital patients, prison inmates and military conscripts. 

"This seems like something right out of Dr. Mengele's notebook." 

That is how Bradley Stoner, MD, past President of the American Sexually Transmitted Disease Association, has described these Guatemala experiments in public statements, comparing them to the Nazi medical experiments inflicted upon Jews in Auschwitz during the Second World War. 


Key Rockefeller and Johns Hopkins researchers involved in the Guatemala Experiments, were also behind the now infamous Tuskegee experiments, in which 600 impoverished African-American sharecroppers were never informed they had syphilis, and were given placebos rather than real medicine.  The researchers watched while the experiment subjects wasted away and infected their wives and children with the disease.

i found it really telling of where the west is that could get this far into the public domain without being tackled by someone with a brain and a tiny bit of humanity, common sense, integrity and morality..

you'd think as soon as such a thought left the desk of this kind of person in this job it would be surrounded by men in white coats looking to take it for a short holiday somewhere safe..

And this is the same Dr Walensky with all the brilliant COVID wisdom too. Just think about how far we have advanced into the 21st Century 🤣🤣🤣🤣
