Two of the judges that made that ruling also made this ruling. Both were appointed by Trump.

William Barr was appointed by Donald Trump, yet it was later learned he was more of a "protector of secrets" than he was a drain-the-swamp guy. I think Mike Pence ensured that Trump picked Barr.
