Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 trailer

My favourite film franchise just got an official trailer release.

GOTG 3

From what I can see in the trailer something happens to Rocket. He isn't in most of the scenes and he is giving a farewell speech "We'll all fly away together...one last time...into the forever."
Someone dies in every movie, so I guess it is his turn.

Ummm...Dayam...I hope not...Rocket is the best character of the bunch...followed by Drax...and Groot...

I could be wrong but my son said there is an internet rumor that the color of the Guardian logo is the same color of the character that dies in the movie. The first movie has the logo in a golden brown for Groot, the second movie has it in blue and yellow for Yondu and now it does seem to match the color of Rocket.

Even in the trailer you get a brief glimpse of him like he's dying, but I guess this also could be his origin story and that is what we are seeing, then again when they do an origin story for a character it's because they are about to kill them off.
