You can translate the city and country areas shown in the Nuremberg woodcut, to the excellent 3d imagery available from Google Earth Pro. I was particularly looking to see where the crashes may have occurred. Fascinating stuff!

I wonder what really happened. From the Wikipedia link, there was at least one other event on record.
