I think that you and I have some key differences in our personalities. Don't get me wrong, I always try to treat people with kindness in my offline personal life, but I also think that many people simply suck and have come to the opinion that less is better. I could probably make a 10-page thread opening post about all of the ways I find people to suck.

I was young and was saddened to see that the man was a complete loser, unable to hold down a job, and there was not going to be any kind of a future for me or that child.

Talk to your state about that then. Under federal law you can have an abortion anywhere same as before, even if a state made it a super “gonna nuke whole towns off the face of the Earth over it” draconian law…it is still legal under federal.

Here is the real gateway: The Federal Government doesn’t care if interracial or gay marriage laws are determined by states using Roe v Wade as the new precedent. They are worried about serious laws like National Firearms Act and subsequent infringements of the Second and God Forbid the most sacrosanct of all….the 16th Amendment.

State’s determination of the legality of the 16th would be all out war. Nukes would be deployed before hitting the table for discussion.

Human made climate change is caused by the increase of humans, to save this planet we should prevent the growth of the human population. Either by Culling existing or sterilization.

Unless like most animal communities growth while food is plentiful and collapse when the food runs out.

Yes, I saw the dark humor in it, but there are so many on the left that take it all literally. As we saw with the attack back on me when I suggested that Backstreet/Back alley and coat hangers were really just coined phrases with zero reality to them. The reduction in abortions we may be seeing is not due to the unavailability of abortion clinics. As I said it might be due to the mother having a little extra time to think about it and not just walk down to her 7-11 style clinic.

Save the planet from what? If we are really increasing the temp for all snow to melt etc then the earth will cull humans just find all by herself. No help is needed from us. Earth has culled all life a number of times too, so there really is nothing to save as motherearth will be just fine with us or without us.

No, I've no idea you got that from. It's just reality that if you genuinely care for kids then you put ypur momney where your mouth is and pay more taxes so they get a decent start in life.

You can't pretend you care for kids in the womb then be completely opposed to helping them once they're born.

When denying people their human rights so others can enforce a view of actions have consequences, they have to accept their actions also have consequences -the result of the action is everyone has to pay far more taxes or the chi;dren suffer - denying this proves people are just pearl clutching and couldn't care less about children, they just want to be hyper authoritarian and couldn't care less about humanity.

If people care about kids then get involved in a yourh grouo or fund raise for local klds charities - otherwise shut up with the complaining that taxes need to rise because of the actions of hyper- authoriaarians mean everyone has to pay more in taxes to give kids basic human rights and a good start in life.

That's not correct. The Federal Government protects "the right" to an abortion only in cases of rape, incest or to save a woman's life. That includes the military and veterans.

Two states, Texas and Idaho are in federal court with the federal government over THOSE exemptions. news.yahoo.com...

The citizens of each state are entitled to the privileges and immunities of the citizens of the several states.

The thing is that 26 states now have laws on limitations on abortions. 26 is more than 24. So why are you so opposed to the unborn in 24 states having the same privileges and immunities of the unborn in the 26 states?

If freedom is the ability to make your own choices, then how can the permanent extermination of all choice and self-determination be freedom?

And it isn't even a no to all abortions for all reasons in most places. Most have exemptions for rape, incest and health conditions. The child in Ohio last year that went to Indianapolis did not have to. It was done out of political optics to push an agenda. Which is exactly why some states are on flat no abortions period, because people caused it to be that way.

Even so, those states are a few elections and legislation away from change. By contrast, California has enough vote in the House to railroad or kill anything proposed and my votes here in Ohio does nothing to change that on the Federal level, hence it was made a State's issue by the Supreme Court....because fairness.
