What is more concerning is the designation numbers. The first four digits are the year of discovery, mostly 2022 there. That means they are new discoveries.

We are seeing more local traffic or we are detecting more or smaller objects.

More actual asteroids/meteoroids have been predicted by some after our solar system passed through the galactic equator a few years ago.

The theory is the galactic gravity direction change is disturbing orbits of small objects in our solar system and they are moving into different orbits. Some just closer but some too close to Earth are possible.

It's looking more likely that "Asteroid for President 2024" might get elected by self write in vote. Could even vote itself in early by a cosmic coup.

19:17:03 there is a comet that shoots up instead of down. don't know if that's normal or not. just a second before that there is a comet that shoots down just at the top of that structure in view. just happened to see those two right when i opened your link to the live feed. talk about dumb luck, haha.

Do you mean meteor?

I commet is slow and takes months to pass and has a tail part of the time while it is close to the Sun.

A meteor is a small rock that burns brightly for at most a few seconds as it burns up in the Earth's atmosphere. And yes, they come in from all directions.

They are usually detected by analyzing photographs. That takes time and quite often they are discovered after they pass nearest Earth.

I think it's better detection of smaller objects, a huge majority of those 2022 finds in the table are extremely small

2022 WM3 is only 8 meters so no wonder they didn't see it. And still only got as close as 0.5LD.
