Biden tells reporter "Lots of luck" when she asks him about the republicans opening investigations on he and Hunter. I guess Brandon thinks that the Senate is the only branch that can open investigations. I think he is about to F around and find out.

Biden is right, lots of luck.

The US has a dual system of justice these days.

Democratic politicians can commit nearly any crime and the DOJ and FBI will look the other way, tie up the matter for years, or lose evidence.

Conservatives commit the same crimes and they have the book thrown at them. The FBI will even lie to the FISA court to get a conviction.

Democrats can riot/loot/burn a building with people inside, and it is deemed "love" as in "the summer of love" Harris raises money for their legal expenses, DA's in Dem run cities refuse to prosecute them. They can firebomb pregnancy clinics and vandalize Catholic churches and nothing is done to them.

Elderly conservatives sit and sing in front of an abortion clinic and the FBI arrests them asking 11 years in prison.

Democrats (BLM is an offical member of the DNC) can create an independent nation of CHAZ/CHOP within the US and declare independence from the US, kill people within it's borders. This behavior is called justice and acceptable and the federal justice agencies looked the other way at this weeks long insurrection and secession, stealing of territory within the US.

A handful of extremist weirdo conservatives rush the capital in DC and they are thrown in jail, held for long periods of time without trial and severely punished for their crime of insurrection.

The US has a very clear 2 tier justice system.

If you are a liberal, especially if you belong to the Democratic Party you can commit nearly any crime in the name of politics, equity, or justice, and it will be ignored and swept away by the federal justice system.

If you are a conservative, if you so much as speak in public, opposition to liberal politics or policies, the FBI might be knocking on your door to drag you away. If you commit an actual crime there is more than hell to pay.

That's just the way it is in the US today.

We have to accept it. Biden is right, Hunter can commit any crime, even video it and put it on a laptop or even on social media and it will be overlooked and swept under the rug. That is what the US has become and is now.

The Bidens are above the law, as are the Clintons and the Obamas, and they know it. Hence, the arrogance. But Biden's arrogance is beyond belief. The man has been an abject failure, yet he brags non stop about how great he is.

It's very unlikely they will achieve anything. They won't risk any real meaningful change to protect the status quo.

They should just hand the investigation over to 4Chan. That autistic hive mind would have enough evidence to convince them by lunch.

Yeah, that one doesn't exactly help us very much right now, does it? It won't stop his family from continuing in politics in any way, it won't stop those he supports from continuing in politics in any way, and it's absolutely sickening that we have to rely on potential divine intervention.

I was resolutely not onboard with Donald Trump accusing Democrats of conducting a witch-hunt against him by impeaching him for investigating Hunter Biden's business dealings with Ukraine's natural gas firm, because I didn't believe that such an impeachment would enhance Trump's chances of bringing down Democratic presidential hopeful Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election.

Now that Democrats will still control the Senate, constituting the first time since the 2002 midterm elections that the president's party has retained control of the upper house of Congress in a midterm election in a US president's first term, Rick Scott's hopes that the Senate in the future would consider possibly impeaching Biden for handling the US troop withdrawal from Afghanistan proved utter baloney and were never, EVER going to materialize (demanding that Biden be impeached for the way he pulled troops out of Afghanistan is akin to the one instance in 2014 when Senator Ted Cruz called for John Kerry's resignation as Secretary of State over reports that he warned Israel against becoming a South Africa-style apartheid state unless it treated the Palestinian people better).

I remember the news during the riots and being astonished at what they called peaceful protests. Still, to strengthen your argument, you may want to refrane from claiming people didn't face justice for arson during the riots. There's more articles and sentences than this but it's a start. The news broadcasts and justice in the arson cases were handled differently.
