Your thread title sounds ominous. I hope you're with us (alive and kicking) longer than a few hours.

I am very happy to read your sympathetic post.

Thank you for your support and your prayers!

I wish you (as an American mother) that your children will never ever see war.

If I was you I would jump into my car and make a b-line for the first border that isn’t Russia. The fact you’re being conscripted at 45 should’ve been your first cause for concern.

Nothing good will come from this war… no way on earth I’d allow myself to be a lamb to the slaughter for a lost cause.

Globalists are unlikely to be so kind as to appear on the front lines.

But I believe that someday they will also be forced to come out of their villas and bunkers.

I hope that we will all follow the diplomatic path.

Drones fly at such heights that it is almost impossible to see them.

I hope it will be a survivable circumstance for you should you get sent into battle. I do, honestly, feel bad for the combatants and civilians on both sides of this conflict.

It is not always possible to remember this when shooting from an assault rifle.

Thank you.

Thank you for your kind words, my friend.

I am gradually weaning from civilian life and getting used to the routine of life in the army.

That will be the most frustrating part when you get back lol. You'll be incredibly frustrated with civilians probably forever for their lack of structure lol.

Well trade war stories when you come back

The thread of my life is not in my hands.

But you are probably right.

My level of knowledge of English often does not allow me to understand what unplanned shades of meaning appear in my posts.

Wow, I find this so heartbreaking, for you and for the possibility our young ones will all get sent to fight wars created by big wigs with no personal stakes in the losses.

I love all your pictures of your home country and they go a long way to show that most of what we know over here about Russia is propaganda, that none of this conflict is ever driven by normal people as the normal people are busy, every where living their lives in peace.

Wishing you a safe return.

This sounds inspiring.

But isn't it time for you to do something for my victory?

Do you consider a battlefield a safer place than a shooting range?
