Russia has 150 million people. More than Germany and France combined. Germany and France is the spine of EU. I would say Russia has a lucrative consumer products market.

I think China already has too many people. They don't want to trade their electric cars for Russians.

Russia has immense resources. Human resources. Natural resources. Hell, Russia even has a mighty industrial and tech base. While it has a tiny economy measured in US dollars, it is vitally important geopolitically.

It has lots of natural resources which it's economy is far too reliant on. One more reaon Putins invasion was stupid as he has alienated his biggest markets.

Its economy is small and particularly not a major market for consumer goods.

Ukraine has 36 million people compared to Russia has 147 million people.

Afghanistan had a population of 13 million when Russia invaded in 1979. Russia's population was 138 million.

Just remind me of how Russia did in that war.

Different geography. Afghanistan and Russia don't share the same culture. Donbas / Crimea and Russia share the same culture.

So ?

Small economy measured in US dollars. Not small economy measured in tech and industry. Russia is one of the few countries that manufacture microchips and airliners.

The fact it's a small economy is nothing to do what currency you measure it.

Links to individual companies don't change that there are individual US states with significantly larger economies than Russia.

Economy is determined by 3 factors: population, technology, industry. US dollars is not relevant for determining economy. While Russia does have a smaller economy than Ghana measured in terms of US dollars, it has high standard of living and vibrant society. So US dollars is not accurate in measuring economy.

It doesn't have a smaller GDP (total or per capita) than Ghana. Not surevwhere you got that from.

It does have a small economy compared to many developed countries, particularly by capita.

Dollars is just a unit of measurement, you can use whatever currency you want its still a relatively small economy.

Economy is determined by population, technology, productivity / heavy industry. And to a lesser extent on standard of living. It is not determined by what Western countries say it is.

GDP is a measure of economic activity. The currency used is largely irrelevant.

You can measure it in rubles if you prefer, it won't change the size of the economy any more than changing from inches to centimetres makes something longer.

"Our Donald Trump"...

"Bourgeois oligarchy"... says the guy looking like a part of the bourgeois oligarchy. All the American decisions are made by the ruling class, says someone living in a country where there is no doubt at all that its controlled by the oligarchy under putler, not even a modicum of illusion otherwise.

Love how in his head, everything can be explained by Marxism, everything else it cant, is explained by god... what an absolute tit of a human being.
