I thought it was only one attack, apologies.
But still, in the grand scheme of things?

As for Iran?
I think they have more pressing concerns domestically at present.
And Shia/Sunni enmity trumps anything - if they do get over involved in anything the US would just give Saudi et al free rein on them.....not sure how that would play out.

No-one is using Ukraine to attack anyone - lets not forget Russia invaded Ukraine.

If Russia is provoking escalations in other areas throughout the world - which I'm not convinced of - then its a very dangerous game.
They are struggling in Ukraine at present, they have very limited ability to use their forces outside the current theatre of conflict.....their potential opponents in any global escalations have MASSIVE capacity and ability to do so.

Yes a very dangerous game indeed. Maybe the Russian's are horrified by the Abrahamic Accords whereby arab states usually linked to Moscow are making peace with Israel. Increasing terror might destroy the Accords .

More importantly Israel looks like it is increasing support for Ukraine. Putin gave Bennett a good old warning bout keeping out of Russia's interests. The twin bus attacks might be a Gypsies Warning of sorts to Israel what can happen if they don't play the game.

Saying that the attacks might be a greetings card from the Palestinians to Netenyahu who is about to take the reins of power once again

Russia have very little soft power nowadays. Even their "allies" in the CSTO (the Russian equivalent of NATO) have distanced themselves from Putin's belligerence and imperialism.

It's difficult to see how Russia would stir up trouble elsewhere. Iran is troublesome across the Arab world, but other than Iraq, Syria and a rump of Yemen no one likes Iran either. Iran is constantly fomenting problems for Israel, but most other Muslim countries in the Middle East have grown up, and there is a process of diplomatic normalisation going on.

The only people who seem to care about Palestine nowadays are the flag wavers in Europe, and the Irish Republic.

I think Russia might be biting off more than it can chew if its trying to stir up all the flashpoints around the world.
Like I said; it hardly possesses the ability to supports its 'operations' in Ukraine let alone anywhere else.

And their potential allies aren't exactly the strongest militarily.

I suspect you might not be too far wrong there.

Then again; I have no doubt there will be those who think its further evidence of this super-secret centuries long World Wide plot - that everybody knows about - to destabilise the world in order to usher in this NWO/Great Reset so that 'they' can have greater control over the people 'they' already control.

Who knows?
Maybe they've been right all the time?

23 November Update

* The Russian military conducted another set of massive, coordinated missile strikes on Ukrainian critical infrastructure.

* Russian sources claimed that Ukrainian forces continued counteroffensive operations in the directions of Kreminna and Svatove.

* Russian forces continued offensive operations around Bakhmut and Avdiivka.

* Russian forces continued defensive operations on the east (left) bank of the Dnipro River in Kherson Oblast.

This is just weird-
Wagner Boss Prigozhin has sent a bloody(fake blood?) and intricately engraved sledgehammer, snuggly enclosed in a violin case to the EU parliment after they designeated Russia as a terrorist nation.
Pics here:
news.yahoo.com...

The violin case is a nice touch TBF,and the hammer head looks like decent craftsmanship.
I bet that would go for loads on Ebay.

Ebay? They should have a public auction for it and loudly claim it was donated to the EU by the Wagner boss and that all money for its auction will go towards munitions to Ukraine so they can fight Wagner group.

Musk should outbid everyone and use it as Twitter's new ban hammer for southfront users.

His bid should be 10,000 SpaceX HIMARS compatible rockets with 500 mile range to be immediately donated to Ukraine.

JK Elon, you're already doing more than anyone could ask.

lol. Armata production has been cancelled after they sank trillions of rubles into that project. But glorious Russian electric cars assembled from Chinese components will be Putin's legacy!

Zach The Russian (young russian English speaking YouTuber) told Jake Broe that his stepdad was hired by a 'company' in Khabarovsk several months ago to 'fix' thousands of badly delapitated T62s that have been parked for 30 years. Says few of them will ever be operable again.

Not sure he's qualified as a 'source' on such matters, but he has been confirmed honest about many non-military issues in russia since the war started.

I'm seeing multiple unconfirmed reports of a decent sized russian bank run in the past couple days, and some russian sources 'appear' to confirm this.

Reports are 65b removed from russian banks, much of it in dollars, which *may* soon cause russia's 100% fake exchange rates to completely collapse, both from lack of liquidity and severe lack of 'dollars'.

65b means a WHOLE lot more to russia than it would to the American system, and while the above 'appears' to be true, collapse is still quite a ways off.

65b is roughly equivalent to 1-3 trillion if this had happened to to the US banking system, an extremely big problem for putin.

🙏

it does tie in with Russia's plan to refurbish old material as was mentioned by them a few weeks ago.

Not sure how far they get with old tanks without NV or IR and mobiks behind the wheel.

Zach's claim, which isn't worth much in this case as he isn't military and doesn't have first hand knowledge, is that very few of those T62s are operable or repairable.

Also, local 'rumors' indicate that MQ1 Predators (long retired) are seeing sudden 'activity' at the boneyard, gonna try getting eyes on it this weekend.

This isn't the Gray Eagle that those 16 Senators just requested/demanded from biden and Pentagon, and I'm not so sure they are survivable in the battle space there, but these have the round trip range to bring hellfire to Sevastopol.

Also zero cost (boneyard resurrections) and few advanced technology concerns.

ETA:

russia just reported shooting down a 'large' drone near Sevastopol.

Ukraine doesn't officially have any 'large drones' with the range to reach Sevastopol.

Hmmm...

'Cannon fodder': Why elite Russian soldiers serving in Ukraine are angry

"Soldiers of the 155th Naval Infantry Brigade broke their silence following a particularly harsh battle not far from the city of Donetsk in the Donbas region. "As a result of the 'carefully' planned offensive by the 'great commanders', we lost about 300 people [...] 50 percent of vehicles," write the authors of the open letter, which was widely shared on Telegram, the main communication app used by the Russian military and political commentators.

Ingredients for a massacre

The brigade had been tasked with leading the assault on November 2 against a Ukrainian garrison on the outskirts of the village of Pavlivka, situated southwest of Donetsk. The Russian army had presented this position as a crucial component of the Ukrainian military supply network, explains the Moscow Times."

Gun fodder...............

"There are a small number of these elite troops in the Russian army, and the 155th Brigade was attached to the Pacific Fleet in the Vladivostok region before the war in Ukraine started. "It's a self-contained combat unit, like a pocket army that has all the equipment needed to function on its own," says Hawn. This type of brigade is usually sent to take out crucial targets in well-planned operations." www.france24.com...

Not a good use of naval infantry, assaulting targets so far inland.

Again, I believe Putin's plan assumed a rapid Ukrainian collapse. When that didn't happen, the Russians didn't have enough elite troops to seize Kyiv and Kharkiv.

Cheers

In 2008 there was a run on Washington Mutual when it became apparent that it was badly exposed in the sub prime real estate

People withdrew 16 bil , which was enough to put it below the reserve limit. It was bought by Chase , which had previously made a buy out offer for it and was refused
