Our NHS is free?

You just insulted an awful lot of hard working caring Health Workers.

What the Hell is wrong with you?

Our GPs are corporate drug dealers the front end face of a system that by its own definition puts profit before health.

How does the NHS, which is free, make a profit?

have you seen the price of meat lately?

How about chicken?

People are just lazy about their food, so they eat junk. I bet if you went to that cafeteria 3 years ago it would have been the same.

Cafeteria?

I thought this was about hospital food, like, on actual wards?

The last time I was in ICU for three days the food was modest but wonderful.

Steamed broccoli, low sodium mac and cheese and a small pudding cup if I recall correctly.

Milk and juice to accompany.

They were so sweet, it was like they knew me.

Dr. Paul Saladino is a board- certified M.D.

Well, to be precise, he is a Psychiatrist (yes, technically an M.D.). Just clarifying...

and a proponent of the carnivore diet.

Not for a couple of years now, when he went crazy and starting pouring 300-500 grams of carbs down his neck.

He has some great content back before he went carb crazy, but Stopped following him when he let his carb/sugar addiction get the best of him.

Hopefully he'll eventually figure it out...

It looked like 100% sugar and junk foods...lol Kind of like seeing a fat out of shape personal trainer level of WTF as in you all, if anyone, should understand good eating habits. The sad part is they wouldn't have that crap in there if it didn't sell.

The Corporations that supply the NHS make the profit. Thats who the GPs represent. Dispensers of pharmachemicals from entities whos prime directive is to make a profit,

Great way to promote health.. eh

I'm sure many patients visit the cafeteria. Many patients are not restricted to their rooms. Also, if someone is visiting a patient, they may go get them a snack, which will probably be chips, candy, cake, etc.

That's why he said 'medical students, doctors, and patients'.

Yea its sad what has become normalized as regular snack and food.

Its sad he's pushing a carnivore diet which is an extreme diet that is not very healthy.

Granted, healthier than eating fritos and mcdonalds.

The diet he promotes is a modified carnivore diet. It is heavy on the read meat, but he eats fruit, honey, and raw dairy.

Here's an example of what he eats in day:

There are documented cases of people with terrible autoimmune issues being cured with the carnivore diet:
