Think of all the people disqualified from purchasing firearms due to marijuana busts…

Welcome to the door of unintended consequences.

Why can't the unintended consequences be that people will be more chill after partaking and their anxiety will be lessened, therefore less gun violence(?)

Gun use in this sense is not shooting people but robbing at gunpoint because prisons are known as both trade schools from criminals and means of not being able to acquire steady employment such as “Have you ever been in jail?” on a job application or interview.

It’s a smart move. The tax money that can be made on this will be huge.

Crooks in the revenue channel siphon off much of it.

The moment it is legalised it goes back to the status that it was before the prohibition. The price drops and it becomes a herbal remedy. There is no profit in that. It is in the "nod nod wink wink " category where I live., you only get busted if you sell it for profit.
