Federal investigators indicate they have enough to charge Hunter Biden: report

Federal investigators believe they have compiled enough evidence to charge President Biden’s son Hunter Biden with tax crimes and on allegations related to falsifying paperwork having to do with a gun purchase in 2018, according to a report by The Washington Post on Thursday that cited people familiar with the case.

Hunter Biden has reportedly been under federal investigation by prosecutors seeking more information about his business dealings abroad, particularly income he received from a Ukrainian natural gas company as well as his business dealings in China and Kazakhstan. The investigation became central to former President Trump’s 2020 campaign.

It sounds like somebody at the Wilmington FBI field office believes they have enough evidence to indict Hunter Biden on tax and gun-possession crimes. It remains to be seen if this is just one agent's opinion or if the office has referred the case to prosecutor's office.

If it has been referred to the prosecutor's office, it will ultimately be his decision on whether or not to indict. If he does decide to go for an indictment it will be interesting to see if it comes before or after the midterm. The DOJ has a standing policy not to make any arrests 60 days before an election if the arrest could impact the election. Now, Hunter is not running for office and he is not a politician but he is the son of the President. AG Garland has said he is leaving the decision in the hands of the prosecutor.

If there's enough evidence to charge him, I say go right ahead. However, if the evidence is lacking, I won't be surprised if the Wilmington field office sees some restructuring.

Sounds like more of that Hunter Biden 'Russian disinformation'.

Do they have something they didn't have two years ago?

Remember when Hunter was having that ridiculous art auction, and the press secretary said that the WH was trying to negotiate with the shady art dealer running the auction because of how unethical everything looked, and they said they couldn't stop the sale? Just think about that...the president of the united states didn't have the pull to stop an art auction. Also the father of the person selling his art, couldn't put his foot down and tell his dumb kid to knock it off.

Whatever blackmail scheme they got going on with Hunter, where he's forced to record every dalliance with a Russian escort, is seemingly unprecedented.

I have to think that its not the Russians though, he's being blackmailed by the home team so that Biden plays ball. So with that in mind, are these dangling prosecutions part of the cleanup crew protecting their own or a turning of the screws from the people pulling the strings?

This is a regurgitation of a similar story published two months ago about Hunter biden.

It is believed that Merrick Garland shut that down, because immediately after it was published, Garland sent out a memo to all prosecutors telling them not to bother politicians or relatives of politicians before the election...

Except for Donald trump. Garland said he was fair game at any time.

Has Biden or Harris done something lately that they would like to distract from, and the Washington Post is helping, by providing a distraction.
