Anyway, the concept of “collective unconscious” is post Shakespeare so you may have to pry the Bard away from our “modern” (Freudian) concept.

The idea of a "collective consciuousness" is one where book-learning doesn't match reality for me too.

Like "chakras", the "collective consciousness", as far as I can perceive, is an artificial overlay, a created thing.

For me it is “already been done” (but usually with different terms).

And to replace “old ideas” with the “flavor of the month” excludes some ideas at the cost of being new.

That was my whole point (if I had to sum it up).

Just because a multifaceted idea is new doesn’t mean it’s complete (or even covers all the bases).

That is the nature of open posting boards, I guess.

And as I said, only a point to consider ant a damnation on the whole post.

I never knew "collective" is something arising from around Shakespear. Makes perfect sense.
