A central question in the Mar-a-Lago espionage and stolen documents investigation involves former President Donald Trump’s knowledge and involvement in retaining government records. We have compiled a comprehensive account of the publicly available information that addresses that question. Especially significant findings are highlighted in red text.

Source

The online thinktank, Just Security, have compiled every publicly available document and resource pertaining to the ongoing investigation into Trump regarding his handling of classified material.

Based on their analysis of this material they have come to the conclusion that Trump stored and hid the documents despite knowing that it was illegal.

Even if you don't agree with their findings, they have done a great job summarizing the whole case. So even if you think you know the case I'm betting there's some info on here that you missed.

Quotes from Bolton as evidence, yeah not that he had any bones to pick with Trumpo(Re: no war with Iran, Johnny is sore about)

The article itself is conjecture and biased, obviously by assuming guilt in the first sentence.

How is it assuming guilt? The FBI have stated in their search warrant and affidavit that they are having violations of the Espionage Act and whether classified documents were mishandled.

All that's going on in the world and it's still Trump OMB, indict him and get it over with, or don't and get it over with.

Stolen documents? Pure conjecture at this point so yeah that shows bias right there.

The 11th Circuit has made it pretty clear those documents are the property of the United States government. So those documents were stolen property. The FBI's investigation is attempting to establish the responsible parties.

Letter Reveals Obama Foundation Is Keeping Classified Docs in Abandoned Furniture Warehouse

The Obama Foundation stored classified documents in an abandoned furniture warehouse, according to a 2018 letter from the Obama Foundation to the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA).

The letter, available on the Obama Foundation website and dated Sept. 11, 2018, reveals that the Obama Foundation not only acknowledged possessing classified documents but also admitted that they kept them in a facility that did not meet NARA standards for the storage of those documents.

Read the whole article you linked. Who is the Hoffman Estates warehouse leased to?

I don't even like Trump, but using the FBI as a puppet for political gains is terrible.

IF Obama is admitting to also having classified documents in storage then HE should be raided. I would be willing to bet that he hadn't gone through the process of trying to have them declassified either; which, in my opinion, makes his transgressions worse. To be truthful, this whole process is absurd and I don't think that for EITHER president that this is a valid use for the FBI. If the UFO topic, COVID Vax's, and this nonsense has taught humanity anything, it should be that no good comes from keeping information hidden in the long run.

Here's what PJ Media (your reference) said happened:

"The Obama Foundation stored classified documents in an abandoned furniture warehouse, according to a 2018 letter from the Obama Foundation to the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA)."

Here's what the National Archives and Records Administration said happened (September 23):

"The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) administers the Barack Obama Presidential Library, located in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. The library holds records from the Obama presidential administration and is leased, controlled, managed, and used exclusively by NARA. The Obama Foundation, an independent entity, has never had control over the records in Hoffman Estates. All records in that facility are stored and managed by NARA in accordance with archival storage standards, and all classified records were stored in an appropriately secured compartment within the facility. NARA moved these records at the end of the Obama administration to the Hoffman Estates facility under the assumption that former President Obama and his Foundation would be building and transferring to NARA a traditional, physical Presidential Library in the Chicago area. When former President Obama decided that he would not build a physical, NARA-operated Presidential Library, NARA transported the classified records back to secure locations in the Washington, DC, metropolitan area. The Obama Foundation provided NARA with funds to help convert the Hoffman Estates facility and to cover some of the expenses of moving the classified records, but the foundation has never had possession or control over the records."

Notice the difference?

Of course, if you don't trust your own sourced article, here's what NARA says on the matter:

The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) administers the Barack Obama Presidential Library, located in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. The library holds records from the Obama presidential administration and is leased, controlled, managed, and used exclusively by NARA. The Obama Foundation, an independent entity, has never had control over the records in Hoffman Estates.

I did. Maybe you need to go back and reread it.

The letter, available on the Obama Foundation website and dated Sept. 11, 2018, reveals that the Obama Foundation not only acknowledged possessing classified documents but also admitted that they kept them in a facility that did not meet NARA standards for the storage of those documents.

Media reports confirm that the Obama Foundation had rented space from Hoffman Estates to store these documents, and extended their original lease for four more years back in August.

That "abandoned warehouse" in Chicago, leased to TOF does not meet NARA criteria any more than Trump's residence would, but in both cases, the FBI and NARA knew where the documents were. The FBI even visited Trump's estate prior to the raid.

There's no wiggle room here. If Trump is violating the law, so is Obama and his foundation. This is a clear cut case of weaponizing law enforcement against your political opponent. It's banana republic style government.

Check the two posts above this. Or you could just read the part of your article where it says the warehouse is leased to NARA.

Such convenient corrections. Maybe people are skeptical of these 12th hour "corrections?" There is a reason lot's of people have a strong distrust of government agencies. Sorry but the claims NARA made are not believed by them issuing a statement (including getting a press correction), it may just be the total disregard by many agencies to play fast & loose with accountability. When previous memos are contradicted by some new release it raises eye brows.

Obviously, the FBI think Republicans are bluffing when they promise to slash agency funding next year.

The Agents will have to carry out their raids on bicycles.

If the warehouse in question is leased by a gov agency, we should be able to see a certified copy of the lease right? 😀
