BBC News just stated the damage is with the Russian side. No gas flowing to Germany through them, it's all stored Russian gas. Russia suffers from this event.

What if he used that to de-escalate the tensions in a hearts and minds coup on the European citizenry?

Yes, and it's a big fat pile of hypocrisy.

Our politicians openly said they do not want the Russian gas, it's part of the sanctions. Now that Russia told us "well, wish granted" politicians talk about an energy war.

Someone laughed when a poster mentioned this would have to be done by a submarine and spec ops. There's really nothing funny about it.

This is precisely the kind of thing the US Navy specializes in.

Remember way back in the 70's? When our spec ops types tapped submarine communication cables off Russia. It took our divers to do it and we listened in for years until someone stateside spilled the beans to the Soviets.

Divers off the USS Halibut had to make regular visits to the cables to collect the data recorders. The operation was known as Ivy Bells.

I have no doubt the US is a prime suspect in this.

screwing up big time and having your NATO allies turn their backs on you may be precisely what's needed. THEN you can have your full scale WWIII, with China attacking USA and Europe making peace with Russia while throwing a finger to USA.
