Have you seen russia's 'kill ratios'?

Have you ?

Since russia retreated from the North?

Basically 0:0, there have been near zero 'dog fights' since then.

Been a whole lotta MANPADS though!

Poking the Bear may not end well.

Who is poking the bear? The bear is trying it on with someone who happened to fight back.

The bear is utterly depressing.

You do realize a massive number of ethnic Russians in the East and South have been in conflict in the area for years.

With Ukrainian Nationalists who clear as day support Nazi, because they hated Stalin etc.

Google videos showing how ethnic Russians in that area have been treated bad. And or branded as “traitors”

So Russia steps in on call. Pro Zelensky call them invaders.

NATO influence looks to put weapons on Russias border for awhile (don’t compare other countries as they’ve been NATO for awhile and a completely different situation I.e massive number of ethnic Russians in eastern and southern Ukraine)

How would U.S feel if Russia started putting nukes and weapons on Mexicos border?

U.S wouldn’t like it to say it lightly.

It’s a complex situation obviously. To go around and say Ukraine nationalists with support from Ukraine are innocent is outrageous.

Ukraine hasn’t done Jack squat to defuse the conflict there. They’ve been ramping up

Why should Ukraine defuse the conflict?
They've been invaded by Russia, they didn't invade Russia.

If it was your country being invaded, would you want your government to defuse the situation or would you want your country to do everything within it's power to take back control of every square inch of your country and expel the invaders?

What are they going to do? Nuke Russia back? I don't think so.

More sanctions? Russia doesn't care about sanctions. They've shown that already.
Europe wants to commit suicide and not buy Russian energy? Russia doesn't care, it is selling to China and India anyway, and they need more and more every passing day. India in particular has hundreds of millions of people still in poverty, as it grows economically more people will come out of poverty, same thing that happened in China.

How many people in China and India combined again?

What else can the West do? Freeze Russia out of the SWIFT system?
Wont that just push Russia, and China and the rest of the BRICS/SCO/CSTO/CIS/EAEU to create a parallel 'global' system?
Why would Russia care, if there's already trade sanctions in place from the West which controls the current system?

The West wouldn't react by banning or sanctioning say China over it. China will be able to play in both systems for as long as Western countries are dumb enough to keep massive amounts of manufacturing and reliance in China.

If China invades Taiwan however...

What else can the West do? Arm all of Russia's neighbours who aren't pro Moscow puppets?
Try and start civil unrest and a revolution in various regions of Russia, perhaps try and create some separatist movements?

Short of going to war directly against Russia and dropping the proxy pretences, there's not a whole lot more we the west can do is there.

Or does anyone really think Russia gives a crap about being able to compete in the Olympics lol

The irony is by using our globalized system to cut them off from globalization such as international trade and finance, we could well bring an end to globalization as we have known it.

And we very much should be ending our reliance on China entirely.

um, you are rather wrong. people vote to secede a lot more often then you apparently realize. in fact, now that i think about it, Quebec is pretty much due for yet another vote to separate. they do so every few years. they just have not yet gotten enough votes, even with all their intimidation tactics. and western Canadian provinces have been making noise lately about separating (in a large part due to Quebec). and if you recall history, the US has had some states secede, which resulted in one of the worst civil wars when the rest of the US attacked to force them back into the union.

Well you are right in some have tried... It doesn't work out very well. Lets take Russia, what if any chunk or satellite state said we want to secede what do you think would happen? Unless it is built into the framework like Quebec has, there is no such thing as seceding, so it is basically zero on your "more often" scale.

Future rounds of sanctions against Russia will also be any country supporting them will be sanction too, so ya China and India will be on the chopping block of the West canx them. I believe they are sanctioning the last bank in Russia, so everything stops.

How many people in China and India combined again?

China and India hate each other. They have border war clashes all the time. China imports a ton of its food...Stop that and they are in worst trouble than they already are. We shifted from Japan and Korea to China and India, so we will at some point shift again, just how business works, and when that happens Good luck to those two countries if it is instant because of sanctions.

I think you also think it is all rosy in Russia, the reality is it is not and will only get worst. The people there are like WTF, so if they want to go back to the 1980s and before have fun with that. I was in Russia in the 70s was not a fun place at all.

All it takes is just one nuclear laden hypersonic to get through. Then it doesn’t really matter what anyone thinks about parachutes.

Then it's bye bye Russia.

Doesn't have the yield anywhere close to Tsar Bomba, or range to hit the country who is going to level the whole country shortly afterwards

Let Russia Threat away though, its making an all out Preemptive nuclear strike on Russia way more likely

And whose going to do that? There is no way the US is going to strike Russia unless Russia puts nukes on our soil, not gonna happen

The US are most likely to stage a false flag first, to give them the "justification" of doing so.

A nuclear false flag?

A nuclear false flag!

A nuclear 'false flag' is how propagandists refer to 'nuclear first strike.

Because a nuclear detonation above ground can't be hidden.

The U.S. is not threatening to nuke anyone.

russia is.

There are an awful lot of appeasers "out there". To quote Churchill... "“An appeaser is one who feeds a crocodile, hoping it will eat him last.”

Aye dropping the likes of a Tsar bomb on Ukraine is apt to irradiate Moscow with fallout given the blast yield of the device which is estimated to be 50 megatons or thereabouts, so there is that. LoL

Smart thinking.

Big "if". I think if Russia deployed and used a nuke, the regime in Russia would last a week and the outcome would be a forced disarmament of Russia. Certainly, Putin would be killed fairly quickly.
